We stumbled upon The Grist Mill during our overnight stay in Keremeos. We were originally going to Farmer John's Petting Zoo however it had been unexpectedly shut down. But we had a lovely visit to The Grist Mill. Got to see a gentleman turn wheat into hay and grain. Beautiful gardens and some gorgeous views. We wished the water wheel was operational. Very interesting history and got to check out some neat old school things. My 3 year old liked that everything was hands on. And I really liked the gift shop. If we had more time we would have enjoyed staying for tea.

Took kids from a Summer Camp I was in charge of. Kids were age 6-12 and all of them loved it. The period costumes on the staff were awesome, the tour kept everyone interested. Kids even got hands on experience. The gift shop is awesome!

This place has the most unusual little gift shop. We bought a bunch of Christmas gifts here because we have never seen such unique stuff! From vintage candy to baby clothes this was a fun little pit stop!
