15 -20 min walk ea. way through a bit of Rain Forest, almost year round, from the parking lot 3 Km south of Pemberton on Hwy 99 towards Whistler. Small water fall in narrow defile so sound & mist amplified. (Idiots from Provincial Government spent a fortune on new parking lot but keep it locked for more than 1/2 the year!!! You may have to park on sloping shoulder of the road)

These falls can be reached easily, are quite small but also spectacular. The noise of the amounts of water is deafening.

Despite being mid summer there was enough snow melt to make the falls and torrent really impressive !

Only 20 minutes north of Whistler along the gorgeous Sea to Sky highway - walk three kilometres round trip route is the traditional route used by the Lil’wat Nation to access the falls and view Mount Currie. The trail starts at the parking lot. Hikers should allow at least 1 hour for the hike and wear proper hiking attire. The trail is steep in places and the drop offs are straight down to the rushing river - take care as the river runs very fast and is very cold. The falls are beautiful and different - not a straight drop down.

If in Pemberton or Whistler, take an hour to stop along Hwy 99 and hike up to Nairn Falls. The hike is 2.5 km total, slightly up hill. Worth the trip, spectacular view. Wear solid footwear and not ideal for small children, path is narrow at points.
