After checking the pricey options in Whistler, we found this nice quiet hotel, although it is like 25 minutes away from Whistler is a good option for relax, it has underground parking, pool, sauna, gym and the staff is super-friendly. The room was cozy and very comfortable, it had a full kitchen with all needed things if you feel like cooking.

This is a very respectable establishment and is the place to get by far the best cup 'o java in town.

Pemberton is gorgeous in winter and the Lodge is an attractive natural setting with immediate access to Hwy 99.

The Lodge has all the amenities one would expect plus an exercise room with a scale and free apples and apple cider. The lobby offers Starbuck's coffee in front of a gas fireplace where one can comfortably access wifi in congenial surroundings.

Just make sure your car does not break down as you proceed towards Lillooet because service in that direction will be a problem.

I stayed at the hotel on November 7 2012 and can easily recommend it. The room was spacious and comfortable. Little things like the lemon water at the front desk as you entered, and the hot cider in the lobby were noticed right away. They also have complimentary mountain bikes for guests to take advantage of the many trails that lead from the hotel. This was certainly my kind of hotel. There was not a restaurant in the lodge, but we walked to a collection of places across the road. Between meetings, dinner and breakfast...I hit three of them and each were very good. Especially One Mile Cafe that featured all kinds of local foods.

Room Tip: In the summer, when the windows are open, I assume the preferred side is facing Mt Currie. For the...

If you need to stay in Pemberton, rather than drive to and from Whistler, this is the place to stay. Very nice rooms ( we have stayed here twice while in the Pemberton area for recreation)

Rooms have microwaves, fridge, dishes etc

Much better than a tent or camper!!

I have had the pleasure of staying in this lodge twice...each time was with a few business associates and friends and it was amazing!!!!! The beds are very comfortable, the suites are quite, the service is fantastic!! I loved the water jug in the lobby ;). The swimming pool and hot tub area are peaceful and relaxing. I will stay here again!!!

At first a little apprehensive as they did not answer the phone (tried 3 or 4 times) and you had to go through like 25 questions before the system finally decides to connect you to the front desk. So kinda gave up on them but I prefer Pemberton over Whistler as I was looking for a quiet nights sleep after a couple of long days on the road. So upon passing the property and seeing the 'vacancy' sign I decided to give it another shot. Lobby looks nice, outdoorsy comfy like you expect in a mountain lodge. There were only 2 people ahead of me, but the check-in and registration process takes 15 minutes per room (no, not exaggerating!). The young lady was very friendly but seemed not very confident and had to click through what must have been 50 questions before waiting guests finally got a room. Then follows the very confusing talk about 'pre-authorization' on your card, which every hotel does but nobody goes to great lengths about the process and how much (in this case $40) they block on top of your room cost plus taxes. Anyway, once the wait is over the rest is smooth sailing: nice room, windows that open and let the fresh air in, enough space to work, clean, pleasant and good beds. Internet worked without problems, you get a 10% discount for a restaurant just down the road, I would go back, but hopefully the front deks person either had more training or the process has been streamlined. Bottom line: yes, I would recommend the hotel to friends and family so give them a shot if you are in the area. Just make sure you hydrate and eat before you enter the check-in line :-)

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. Your feedback is important and helps us to find our short comings. We would like to reassure you that our check in process is very efficient, however occasionally we have new associates that have completed their training but they need the experience and time to gain the confidence.
We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your room and your stay at the hotel and we are confident that when you return your check in will be quick and efficient.

Great place to stay in Pemberton, the rooms are beautiful. My room came with a small kitchenette, comfortable bed, and a large bathroom. Every bathroom even comes with a rubber ducky !! haha Lots of nice touches, small onsite store, very nice lobby and even underground parking. Close to Whistler but a lot lower prices. Very nice restaurants near by.
