“no longer Peppi's but still a fixture of the seawall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

This Beach House is a house with a lot of history. One of the oldest institutions in West Vancouver, from when there was a ferry to Vancouver. And then in the 70s and 80s it was Peppi's a real red-sauce Italian restaurant with the kind of veal you expect, and wonderful sunset views. The views are still the same but now we're a lot more upscale. The food is OK, a bit overpriced, and drinks are good. Service is excellent. And there are still the wonderful sunset views left over from Peppi's. You can get better food elsewhere, but the location makes up for it.

“wonderful autumn lunch on the terrace!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012

This place has all the elements one could look for. Great location, comfy seating, with heating for the winter.
Modest selection of food on the menu but the range was good with something for most people. the Mahi Mahi taco starter was delicious- fresh and crunchy with good flavour. My main dish was grilled salmon with beets and carrot puree.. it was presented beautifully on the plate and equally good to taste- and was served piping hot. My friend had fresh clam pasta and enjoyed it very much.

We did not feel hurried though it was getting rather busy when our meal was over.

I did not give it 5 out of 5 as I felt the service was a little slow at the start... but it got better as the meal progressed.

“Atmosphere, food, views, area, all great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

Had my husbands birthday lunch here (just the 2 of us). Location is beautiful. West Vancouver is an upscale area with great views. Food was very good. One main course excellent, the other just good. Very friendly service and feel of an upmarket restaurant with a beachside vibe. We didnt have a car whilst in Vancouver and caught the 250 bus from downtown which drops you about a block from the restaurant. Very easy. After lunch took a walk along the seawall and then through the main street of Dundarave which has good shops and wandering opportunities. We just picked up the 250 bus further on and headed back downtown. Well worth the trip to Dundarave. I think there is another Beach House restaurant in Vancouver. Just to clarify, we ate at the Beach House at Dundarave Pier.

“Nice restaurant with a great view...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2012

We were invited to this restaurant by my wife's cousin and his family.
We were very happy with the service, the food & the decor was great too.
And the view is "magnifique", to say the least.
Our waitress went out of her way to please our young nephew.
We shall return.

“Great service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

we had brunch on the 26th out on the patio and our server was cute and very professional gal who took care of us. she was very polite, knowledgeable, and just allround very good at what she does. for the life of me i can't remember her name but cudos to her. exceptional service. that being said the omelette I ordered had good toppings (shrimp, chorizo sausage) but the eggs were like a crepe very flat and not fluffy. what can i say i like my eggs fluffy.
