Oh I do like to stroll along the prom prom prom ....

I also like the dog run behind the 3ft. chainlink fence - and so does my dog, who can experience off-leash privileges with his friends while the owners stroll on the seaward side.

Thank stuffit

Best place for a stroll on a sunny day. The view is great and shopping or dining is close. Take a break from a hectic day or do your daily exercise walk.

Every visit to Vancouver includes a walk on the West Vancouver Seawall. This time I saw a sea otter and a couple seals. Its a great place to see ships arriving and departing from the harbour. I like that there are little art displays in some spots. There is also a new, interactive kids play area. That was very cool. Its so nice to walk from Ambleside Park on a small road over to the seawall and then on the Seawall to Dunderave Pier. There is even a dog run beside the seawall so dogs can get some exercise too.

I love the Seawall and how relaxing, and how beautiful it is. I walk it every morning, bright and early, and greet the same walkers who do their exercise at that time. I walk from Ambleside to Dundarave and back to Whole Food at Park Royal, where I enjoy a delicious coffee, then begin my walk home again. The whole walk is lovely, and an easy flat walk and so much to see. It's fun on a windy day, when the the tide is in, and it's a game to miss getting wet when the big waves sometimes blow over the wall. The beach area has a dog park and what a delight to see the dogs of all sizes just frolicking on the beach with each other. A lagoon is there also with swans, and many ducks and the herons.Great places to have a picnic, and 2 nice big washrooms if needed at both ends of the walk. The little groomed walk in the "forest" part before coming to Park Royal is really pretty. It's very safe, and I have no fear of walking it early in the morning when alone. Don't miss the Seawall!

Right on the ocean, beautiful views, relaxing, flat long walk with fresh sea air. Can get there by bus ( just get off on marine drive, anywhere after Park Royal Shopping Centre and head towards the ocean) and/or free parking anywhere in West Vancouver 15 minutes from Vancouver City Centre. Oh and close up view of cruise ships going by in the summer months (after 5pm). As well as other ships at anytime. Beautiful spot!!!! Enjoy
