There are 2 18 holes: I like "The Ridge Course" where the Canadian Open was once played. A PGA course that gives good options for higher handicap recreational player. Well maintained and the club hourse is great with view of the North Shore mountains.

used to host a PGA stop every year. A great track for the experienced golfers. Lush and well maintained, got some real need holes. #18 on the ridge is a par 5 over water, you can go for it in 2 over the water or go around the water for an easy par.

This was the first course my group played on a tour of BC golf. The course bills itself as having hosted the PGA Air Canada Champiionship. The facility includes a driving range and large practice area. There are two 18 hole courses and we played the harder of the two - The Ridge. It played at 11.5 on the stimpmeter and the greens were in very good condition. They proved to be challenging but enjoyable with the tiering not being too severe.

The holes are quite varied and the fairways were in excellent shape. Playing out of the rough was not overly penalizing however there were a few areas including bunkers which were marked under repair. The occasional elevated tee and dog leg added to the variance. The bunkers were well placed but the large amount of water was what really required shot management, still leaving reasonable landing areeas.

The Facilities were great including a really well-stocked proshop. The food was really satisfying, especially as we were able to eat in sunshine on the expansive balcony with the benefit of friendly accomodating service. This just served to reinforce the playfullness of the final hole. It also made it the most memorable hole of the round as we got to watch the sadistic side of golf as the tournament players sat and cheered each time (the vast majority) of competitors plunked one in the water.

It's a fantastic closing hole - par 5! A solid drive to the right sets up a very makeable mid-iron or longer to the green for a chance at birdie. Left or in the middle bunker (like me) and you are looking at playing safe for par. I made par off my errant drive but it was amaziing how many golfers hit it into the drink and hit bogie or worse. Watching from the clubhouse was truly entertaining as each tournament group came in to wish ill-will on the followers.

I should also mention that this is a walkable course and the one morning a week that the driving range is closed you can ask for directions to the public one jut a few minutes drive away.
