Be sure to walk through the college as well. They offer a vast variety of classes - many of which can be taken by non-enrolled students....perhaps even during your vacation!

“Easy Trail”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

What a lot of fun! Easy to navigate and fun to look at all the sculptures. There is a museum nearby to visit. There are some lovely views of the lake too!

“Free outdoor exhibits among wildlife”
Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

Wear comfortable walking shoes and sunscreen if going in summer, and your camera, for this free outdoor exhibit of local artistry featuring 21 sculptures. You can park by Fleming College's Haliburton School of the Arts by College Drive. There is an info kiosk and entrance by the lot, or, park on the other side by Museum Road near the Haliburton Highlands Museum and walk to the exhibits. There are several 1870 log cabins available for viewing for a donation, and someone from the museum is usually there. It is also a great area for cross country skiing. We didn't walk too far, but Head Lake is along one side. Don't forget to leave your monetary donation in the donation box at the entrance sign. This is one great way to spend a half day in the great outdoors with beautiful scenery and art!
