Went up for thanks giving with my fiancée and loved the fall colours and the hiking. We also enjoyed some of the local art houses, it's rich there in that respect.

After a late arrival, we went up the creeky crooked stairs to be greeted with HUGE moths, damp mouldy smell, and dog stink. No air conditioning, damp beds(and filthy) not worth the $300.00+ per night. Save yourself grief and stay across the road at the Lakeview Motel.

Room Tip: Stay 2 miles South, you will not regret it.

Just returned from a fishing trip with the boys and it was awesome! We caught a mixed bag of fish, walleye, muskie, and bass, and had a blast.
One complaint was the lodge only provided rental boats in 5 and 10 horse power models, and it is a huge chain of lakes and we would have liked to explore more, but since the boats were free(most places run 50-100$/day), it was all good.

First time at Kashaga Lodge and fishing on Kashagawagamog Lake. Fishing for Walley was uneventfull, but the Musky's were jumping in the boat. Even though it was out of season it's always fun to hook into one of those toothy monsters. Ken McPhail and his son couldn't have been any better host's. Stayed in the big cottage with six guy's and nobody was running into each other. Very clean a roomy. Enjoyed the fact that the town was very close for resturants and supplys. We are definetly going back next year for more fishing and kicking back and drinking a beer. I highly recomend this place. This place is not fancy, but has all the everday essentials and more. Thanks again Ken for the great time from all of us.
Best Regard,
Chuck

We didn't do much in the way of activities, but we sure had a blast! We mostly just kept to the beach, what a lovely child friendly beach with nice sand! It is sure nice to get a break from the rat race of the city and just relax!

I went to Kashaga lodge with my husband Robert for a cross country ski vacation and it just so happened to be valentines weekend, of course we planned this:) Like the title says it was perfect and we loved the lodge and the surrounding trails.

It just so happened the powder was perfect this year for skiing and we loved the cozy 2 bedroom cabin secluded in the forest. Our favorite breakfest spot to recover from the tough trails the day before was Cozy Corner, they make a mean full continental breakfast with tea.

We truly could not have asked for more:)
