We stayed the Green Room for two nights in February with our baby and couldn't have been happier with the experience overall. The Rectory is beautiful, the rooms are finished to a high standard, really comfortable beds, hot water bottles brought at night and a beautiful bathroom. The moment you walked in to the room you felt on holiday and relaxed. The standard of service was excellent- never intrusive but every little thing thought of and offered. It really is excellent value for the qualiy of the rooms and standard of the experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Amazing - real countryside luxury - agree with all previous reviewers. Issy is a perfect host without being intrusive. A log fire in the drawing room was awaiting us on arrival - loved it - I fell asleep on the sofa within 30 minutes or arriving it was so relaxing. The beds in the blue room were riduculously luxurious and oh so comfortable - Mum and I were thrilled to find hot water bottles in the bed on our return from dinner. Powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious, we ordered scrambled eggs and toast (we could have had the works!) - they were cooked beautifully and were provided from the free range chickens who happily roam the gardens. The choice of yogurts, seeds, nuts, cereals, juices, croissants, toast, home made jams, preserves etc etc was endless and so fresh! Was a delicious start to the day. Thank you for looking after Mum and I we had a fabulous stay.

Room Tip: Blue room was fabulous!

I went to stay here with 12 friends and had one of the best weekends ever. the lovely hosts izzy and andy were so good at catering for all 12 of us. The house is in the most incredible setting and the bedrooms are pure luxury. we 100% would love to come back next year. i strongly advise this as an ideal place to go with a group of firends. Ludlow is great place to visit near by with lovely pubs and the walks around the house are very beautiful.

We have just returned from a super weekend at the Old Rectory. Cannot fault anything - the house is beautiful; the bedroom very comfortable; tea and breakfast were delicious. Izzy and Andy were warm hosts and as I think someone has already mentioned in another review, it really felt like we staying in a home. We particularly loved Bella and Tarmac.

We stayed with our Australian friends for 1 night. It is about 15 mins from ludlow and quite difficult to find. It is a beautifully restored Georgian rectory and furnished with lovely antique furniture. The owners are charming and have thought of everything. Sherry in the rooms, hot water bottles in the bed and a perfect breakfast. Cannot be faulted and we did not want to leave

Thankyou for you lovely review. I do appreciate people taking the time and trouble to write nice things!
I'm sorry you had a little trouble finding us. We do stress that it's best to follow the directions on our website because if you rely on sat- nav you will end up at a caravan park about a mile away from us. Anyway you know the way now if you come again!
