I was there on April 2012 after a referral of a friend of mine. This restaurant is a family owned and is known in the area near Chateuneuf du Pape in France as the best black truffles there. It is located at RN 5 (National Road 5) at the small village of Mondragon.
April is not the season of black truffles (ends on February) but nevertheless I had a wonderful lunch based on truffles. I also was surprised not only with the quality of the food but with the wine list as well. An amazing wine list and a beautiful winecellar with all the best French wines and some Italians as well. The service is like at house quite familiar and nice. You will not pay much for the food and not even for the wine. Don't lose this restaurant if you are near Avignon, Montelimar or Chateuneuf du Pape in France.

We were lucky to have this place recommended by a friend who lives in the area. It's quite unpretentious with plain walls and little decoration. But when the food starts coming out you forget everything. We had a "flan asperges" entree that was amazing. It was a small souffle with asparagus creme sauce. We ended up going back the next day to have it again. The waiter was very helpful to my wife's allergies, and Chef Jullien made up something just for her. I"m glad I don't live in Mondragon, I would be spending all my money eating at La Beaugraviere.

Don't miss this restaurant and charming hotel with big unpretentious rooms with a feel from an earlier simpler age.
Shady plane trees , a car park, and just five rooms. A refreshing absence of pretention exists not only in the service, but in the décor.
Chef Guy Jullien and his charming wife Tina serve the best of traditional Provençal cooking. To taste truffles at their best, head to La Beaugravière. Stupendous wines. Difficult to find a more exciting Rhône list. It is one of the best list of Rhone wines I have seen in a restaurant.
