“Just too cute of a bakery”
Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

A definite stop. It's a charming little bakery. They have picnic tables out by the parking lot. It's fresh air. These guys were so friendly. Jams were yummy. Fresh muffins omg yum. This place was a true treasure along our drive.

“Worth the trip to the UP by itself! LOVED IT!”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

What a diamond in the middle of Paradise! The Monks that run the bakery were very accommodating and more than that their baked good are heavenly! But watch out, some of the cakes have been wrapped in a cheese cloth soaked in bourbon. WOOHOO!!! They were awesome! The place is small but have a good variety of for the whole family. You can sit out under a tree and enjoy your purchase. Worth the stop!

“Had to stop!!!”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

We were driving on m26 taking in the majestic views from copper harbor through eagle harbor, when suddenly the driver makes a 'U' turn, exclaiming "WE HAVE TO STOP!!!"
We pulled into the Jampot...
Amazing.
The smells stop you in your tracks upon entrance. The rows of jams and jellies excite your mind and tempt your taste buds. The breads are robust and fresh asking you to try them.
Then once you have regained control of the sensory overload you have experienced, you look up and see a monk behind the counter.
The Jampot is truly special and deserves a 'U' turn every time!!!

“A must if you are in the area”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

We have stopped here several times and have never been disappointed. The jams are out of this world. I will stock up on several to use as small gifts to family and friends. My husband loves the Black Jamacian cake. We have tried the jams, butters, cookies, muffins, caramels and many of the breads and have been extremely satisfied with each one. Allow yourself time to speak with the monks who run the shop. They know their products and can assist you in selecting just the right item(s.) Be sure to sign your name to their mailing list. They are only open from May through early October and you will want to order some of their jams to see you through the winter months.

“Delectable hidden bakery!”
Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

This little bakery is amazing! It is owned and operated by the local monks who make the most heavenly things from bread to jam to caramels to the biggest and best muffins you'll ever taste! This little gem is only open during the summer months so make sure you stop in if you have the opportunity!
