If you're looking for a wonderful meal and a truly memorable dining experience, and you happen to be near the Disneyland Park outside Paris France, then you absolutely need to make a reservation for dinner (or lunch) at this terrific restaurant! You'll walk into a delightful reception area, where the hearth has a low flame burning what smells like fruit wood to me. The charming host will greet you in French...this is France, after all! His English is fine. We were seated at one of their beautifully set tables, with chargers in place to receive the meal. We had the price-fixed menu @ 48 Euros, which offers a great selection of starters, main courses and desserts. We prefer to order that way so we experience a meal the way the chef designs it. The decision was rewarded wonderfully! Before our starters were delivered, the very friendly waitress presented the Amuse Bouche (the French just know how to make a great meal begin!) which was perfect! I had the "Foie gras de canard traditionnel, farci de pistaches, noix et noisettes, croustille de pain d’épices" to start. Absolutely fabulous! Not for the dieter in anyone, though. But who's there to diet?? For my main course, the "La selle d'agneau (that's Lamb) rôtie au piment d’Espelette et olives noires, roulée façon couscous, paupiette d’aubergines aux artichauts et abricots secs" was a real treat! Around the table, my wife had a duck dish main course, which was great! Our teenage daughter loved the carpaccio starter and the "Le bar rôti sur la peau, achard de légumes, jus brun de poisson à la mangue et au soja" main course! And for our 6 year old son, who is a great experimenter when it comes to new restaurants, we decided to keep it very simple and quick (he was hungry after a full Disneyland day!) so we asked for a Croque Monsieur, which is a ham and cheese sandwich done as only the French know how to do it. He loved it!! The main course was followed by a fabulous cheese cart offering no less than 20 different choices from which to pick. As a cheese lover, I was thrilled! The desserts were no disappointment! Creme Brulee, a plate packed with local fresh berries and fruit - with a perfectly ripe Mango in the mix, a selection of truly decadent chocolate delights and some ice cream were shared and enjoyed by all four of us! Mouth watering chocolate truffles took me over the edge! We're not big wine drinkers, but the wines served to other guests got some pretty good oohs and ahhs. I haven't taken this much time to review a restaurant for TripAdvisor yet. But this is the only one that you needed to hear from me about....so far. If you're only going out to one "good" restaurant while visiting this area, this is the one to chose!
