A purely functional place, which is just a white concrete slab of a building without any character. Despite being new, it is showing a bit of age. The lobby is the only place that is a little attractive and warm. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I have been to Prachuap on a number of occasions and was happy to see this hotel open its doors a few years ago. The rooms are reasonably sized, simply furnished and kept spotlessly clean. The views from the sea view rooms are wonderful. The hotel has an elevator.

Although breakfast is not included, there is fresh coffee and chinese donuts (crunchy delicious things) every morning to the side of the lobby.

The staff speak some English and are extremely helpful. They helped me to get a better than expected deal at my choice of hotel for my next destination by calling and negotiating on my behalf. When I wanted to rent a motorcycle (scooter) for the day, they made a call and ten minutes later a shiny new machine was waiting for me at the front door.

The hotel is south of the centre of town, but Prachup isn't very big so getting around on foot is okay. If you want to visit the beaches to the north and south, it is worth renting a motor cycle (scooter).

Highly recommend the soup noodle store next door to the hotel. Their wonton soup is excellent and the perfect start to the day.

Room Tip: Paying a little extra for a sea view is worth it and I recommend a room on a high level for the view...

Once you get past the most miserable Thai we've ever encountered on reception (I understand she's the manager) and get to your room, you'll have no regrets about choosing this hotel. We had room 509, a double seaview room at the front and it was bright and spacious. Not luxurious, but then it was only 750 baht a night and the view alone was worth that. Although there was no kettle in the room, tea, coffee and drinking chocolate were available free of charge in the dining area all day. Situated on the seafront opposite the promenade it's close to the market and restaurants. The free wifi has a good signal, in fact the best we've had on our trip.

We checked out the price on Agoda before we arrived but prices on walk-in were higher so I'd recommend booking in advance with a booking agent.

A previous contributor mentioned a restaurant but this wasn't open during our stay so can't comment on the quality of the food. There is a lady who works at the hotel, often sweeping the floor in reception who speaks good English and loves to chat! She will gladly give guests any information they need about the area, places to go, people to see ...

Loved it!!

We stayed a few days in this hotel.
The seaview was great. Somehow there was a problem with the room we wanted (double bed) and so we were upgraded for free.

A regular room is 650B and a sea view room is 750B.

The pros:
- excellent wifi at every floor. When you have to work while on vacation, that counts for a lot.
- great, cheap restaurant. They do not take advantage of your laziness in that department.
- it is quiet and luminous.
- the bed is very comfortable.
- there is an elevator.
- the room is big.

The cons:
- it is a bit on the far end of the town.

Will stay here again with joy!
