What a stunning place to eat!! The setting is beautiful and we had a warm welcome and were shown to our table.

The staff were all friendly and polite. The menu offers great choices with something for everyone and the staff were happy to explain the dishes if you are not sure on the ingredients!

We had our small dog with us and they were happy for her to join us at the table, she is very well behaved and the other diners faces when we left with her was amusing as they obviously didn't realise she was there.

The food here is first class, everything was perfect and I will most certainly return as soon as we can

I cannot fault this restaurant. The food is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful, polite but not gushing. The menu is varied and all the food is very well presented. The wine list is varied and reasonably priced. They do have a special price for either two or three courses. If they realise that you are English you will be given the opportunity to have a menu written in English. We have the French menus as we can read it well enough. They are happy and understanding when we speak our rather bad French though! They are quite happy to receive families with small children. However, do remember that French children are bought up to sit at the table and not run about. I cannot say what the reaction to something like that happening would be, as I have never witnessed such an occurence. The service is attentive, but not intrusive. The times between courses is just about right, you are never at any point hurried. The restaurant is set over several levels and each has their own charm. There is a small bar area with comfortable seating, as you arrive, where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink or your cafe / digestif after your meal. The restaurant itself is set in beautiful landscaped gardens with a small brook running through with a bridge over it. In summer you can eat outside on the terrace if it is warm enough. It is advisable to book, which you can do on-line very easily. I now believe they also do a "take away" service as well. This has arisen, I think, from the main holiday times (Christmas etc) when they begun to offer this service either in cartons to have on your own crockery or with theirs. So all in all, a MUST VISIT.

Great buzz over Sunday lunchtime, set menus fair value, staff excellent when they realised we were English they sent over an English speaking waiter, a nice touch but we wanted to try our poor French :) Service unobtrusive food superb and the wines...shame we had a drive ahead :( Very much looking forward to making it our "local! Enjoy..

A restaurant we'd never have found without a recommendation from the hotel we stayed at in Marcey Les Greves, this proved to be an absolute gem.

Food cooked to perfection, wine at a realistic price, lovely setting and with its various levels an architectural curiosity that ensures the waiters are kept at Olympic levels of fitness!

I can echo every comment of "christopher c" and add that they dealt brilliantly with food intolerances, provided excellent service and overall could not be faulted.

The restaurant is set in lovely countryside. When you approach from the car park the harmonious blend of old and modern in the restaurant design is apparent and really works. The restaurant is split on different levels giving the place intimacy without it ever feeling crowded. The service is attentive, without being obtrusive, and friendly. The staff speak excellent English and you are offered either a French or English menu. The menu is set price for either two or three courses. There are supplements for some dishes.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience in a relaxed setting with good food: heaven. The prices are reasonable too.
