Arrived in our motorhome; checked into the campground & headed to the restaurant to make a reservation for dinner. We were very happy we had a reservation as it was Father's Day & the restaurant was quite full. Our waiter Richard was fabulous with great recommendations. We started with a very good Merlot wine from the Okanagan & very delicate crab cakes to share & homemade bread. We then proceeded to our main course - the sirloin steak tips with a great sauce and the trout which was exquisite.
Next came dessert....... The selection was wonderful & we couldn't decide, so.......we asked Richard to choose and he didn't fail. The plate he brought us had two pieces of freshly made zucchini cake, two profiteroles & ice cream!
This restaurant is truly a gem ........an unexpected oasis. We hadn't expected fine dining as we were on a road trip out in the country. What a wonderful surprise .....& thank you Richard for making it even better!
