“Great way to experience the Canadian Wilderness”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2012

We pre booked our tour with Gy before we arrived. He arranged to pick us up from Clearwater Ranch where we were staying and we had a fantastic day!

There are some spectacular waterfalls within the park and Gy took us to all the best viewing places. We would not have seen these spectacular sites without having Gy as our guide. He has great knowledge of the local area and supplied a brilliant picnick at a remote location by the river.

The great ting about Wells Gray is that being a provincial park and not a national park, there is not entrance fee and the sites are definitely not as crowded as Banff and Jasper National Parks

We also saw a fresh bear poo, while walking on one of the trails!
If we had been on our own, we would definitely have turned back, however being with Gy put us at ease and the whole day was a great introduction to the wilderness and wildlife in Canada.

On our drive back to the Clearwater Ranch, we saw 3 bears by the roadside to finish off a superb day

“'Canada as you imagine it' the advert said.Correct!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2012

Less busy than some parks we'd visited. Moul Falls well worth the 30 minute trail each way. You can walk behind the falls. However, be warned, you get drenched, but perfect on a hot summer's day!

“Fantastic day out!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2012

We booked a day out with Gy after reading reviews on TA, and it was a good thing we did!

We're here on some 'circle' holiday and are spending 2 full days in Clearwater. Our first day was filled up with meeting Gy who picked us up from our hotel, and took us to various amazing areas in the Wells Gray. If it wasn't for him, we would have had no idea where to go and would have not seen such beautiful sights.

He knew exactly where to take and had lots of stories and facts about the local area that were very interesting.

Also, if you're with him during lunchtime, he'll provide with a lunch (and snacks before and after too). It was a delicious lunch too!

Highly recommended.

“SubAlpine Trophy Meadows full day trek”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2012 via mobile

A wonderful day out. Our guide, Gy, was extremely informative and our small group (5) allowed for plenty of opportunity to get the most from Gy's extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of this area. This is an excellent tour, and by far the most interesting guided walk we have had recently. The meadows were stunning, the alpine flowers probably at their best; how lucky we were to happen to be here in Clearwater at this time. Thoroughly recommended.
