A delightful place to stay with charming hosts, spacious bedroom and bathroom and a wonderful view. We particularly liked the private entrance to the room and the attentive but non intrusive style of our hosts.

I arrived in my owner's Mazda and was greeted warmly by hostesses Lois and Jeanette. It was LIKE at first sight! How do you say "this place is totally charming" in a word? Woof! I am a minpin chiahuahua and I say 2 paws up to Caprice Bed and Breakfast! I awoke to the smell of a delicious cheese omelet being prepared upstairs and freshly brewed coffee wafting past the fresh long stemmed multicolour rose bouquet in our room. After a very restful snooze in the perfect-for-me-sized doggie bed provided, I glimpsed a look at the hot tub and pool before my morning walk through the tall timbers. That doggie-friendly personal connection I felt still had me smiling, even at the ferry terminal! Woof!

The Sunshine Coast is one of the most captivating places in the world and it is easy to imagine making a home there, but many have already done that and none more so than Jeanette and Lois who are the most welcoming and generous of people at their Caprice B & B.

The Caprice is a home away from home in every sense of the word, except I do not have a pool, a hot tub or a view that many would give their right arm for and neither do I have a garden with an eagles nest at the bottom of it, Jeanette and Lois do. They are the most amazingly interesting people who are so well travelled and could probably have settled anywhere they wanted, which says all I need to know about The Sunshine Coast.

I have visited the area many times and on this occasion I stayed at the Caprice and had a thoroughly agreeable and comfortable three days. The rooms are comfortable with all the amenities one needs and so clean, bright and fresh looking. The house is set in a beautiful garden that is so perfect for quiet contemplation with amazing views across the Georgia Straits. It is also a short and picturesque walk from all the main amenities of Gibsons.

Not only are Lois and Jeanette extremely interesting raconteurs, but they cook as well! Breakfasts were a delight with a choice of eggs, bacon, pancakes all supported by oceans of great coffee or tea and homemade cakes and jams.

A big thank you to two such gracious hosts and no question, I will be back

The Caprice B&B, on the Sunshine Coast is a wonderful, warm, relaxing home away from home. Jeanette and Lois are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They recommended excellent places to dine and entertained us by sharing stories of their travels around the world. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. I especially liked the fresh flowers, and plums with chocolates on the table. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and especially sitting on the patio reading and looking out at the incredible ocean view. The house is bright and cheerful and is nestled among tall evergreens. The food is delicious and fresh. This is defiantly the place to stay if you want to relax in a beautiful home with an incredible view managed by charming hosts.

My friend and I just returned from 4 heavenly days at Caprice B&B and the Sunshine Coast.
Jeanette and Lois are the most gracious and friendly hosts. Our room with two queen beds and ensuite bath was huge! After a delicious breakfast each morning (fresh fruit, homemade scones, muffins and jams, plus hot entree), Jeanette and Lois provided excellent recommendations for things to do and see, plus restaurant recommendations. Sweetwater Bistro in Gibsons was our favorite. There's a pool, hot tub, and beautifully landscaped grounds complete with an eagle nest in a nearby tree. This is definitely the place to stay on your visit to the Sunshine Coast and I hope to return soon!

My wife and I stayed here August 2nd to 6th 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The room was well appointed with a 4 poster queen bed with 2 nice sitting chairs and table for reading, playing games/cards etc.The pool is very refreshing at 30+ degrees and the location is close to all amenities. The owners Lois and Jenette are extremely interesting and a delight to visit with at breakfast and you will not be disappointed in the servings. Eggs benny, fluffy pancakes, french toast and awesome omelettes are just a sample of the breakfast delights awaiting you. Have stayed before and will stay again. Don't miss this one!!!

A group of us came in to attend a friend's wedding in Gibsons and we needed a play to stay. None of us had ever stayed in a B&B before and we must say, it was a great stay at Caprice.

The place was very clean and the decor during breakfast had a wordly feel - these ladies are well travelled! They were very pleasant to speak with, respected our space when needed but were more than happy to chat us up if we wanted. Their living room / dining room has so many interesting things - ask about the flying pig!

The breakfast was amazing the two days we were there. During our stay, we had pancakes and bacon, superb eggs benedict, and always a wonderful assortment of fresh baked goods and fresh fruits. The coffee was great and they always had an assortment of teas to choose from or juice if you prefer.

We stayed in room 13 1/2 and room 54. Room 13 1/2 was small but good enough for 1 person or a couple - the bed was a bit soft for our liking due to the pillow top mattress. Room 54 was nice and spacious and has its own small fridge, sink and microwave - plus a great recliner. Both rooms has their own external doors and flat screen TVs.

If you have the time, take a breather and enjoy the pool a hot tub. There's a nice spot in the hot tub where you can lie and look out to the water. Also, if you're in the yard, try to see if you can locate the eagle's nest nearby. With some patience and/or luck, you'll see something.

The best part of the experience, we left behind something in one of the rooms when we checked out... the ladies went above and beyond and brought it with them during their next trip to to do errands in Vancouver a few days later - totally unexpected but most appreciated!

Would we go back again? For sure!
