A small little restaurant that has a calm and quaint atmosphere. The food was delicious, although the menu is small, there's something for everyone. The service was friendly and our desert was amazing, we almost ordered two. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

although there were offers like Boeuf Bourgignon and other delicous things not on the menu, we sticked to salads, fish of the day and a tenderloin followed by delicous desserts. everything fresh and very good cooked, the actual chef is french and cooks very modern, absolutely not greasy.

We live on the Coast and always appreciate getting a babysitter and going to our favourite restaurant--SweetWater Bistro. We love the intimate atmosphere which is classy and chic, without trying to be pretentious. Sometimes in a small town, they don't get it just right, but here, no problem, you would never know you weren't in the big smoke across the pond. In the summer you can sit on the deck for a gorgeous ocean view. The food is delicious and Brigitte, the owner, is very friendly and personable. When we were last in, there was a misunderstanding with my drink order and they immediately comped me a glass of wine. A dinner for two will easily run $100 or more with drinks, so not the least expensive option around, but definitely worth coming here if you are looking for a dining experience.

We have never been to the SweetWater Bistro and had it not been for an error made by one of the other restaurants in town, we might not have been there tonight. I phoned in a reservation, indicating that it was our anniversary and when we arrived and identified ourselves were greeted with a, "Happy Anniversary" by Brigitte (hope that is spelled correctly). Our meal was excellent and the service was efficient. We shared a pear and blue cheese pastry dish and I enjoyed the fish of the day, a red snapper served with some nicely roasted veggies and risotto. My wife had an extremely tender beef bourguignon. Dessert for me was an apple tart while my wife had a most decadent chocolate dish. I believe the meal and a glass of wine each was well worth the price and we will most certainly return.
