We had stayed at this hotel twice in the past but since our last stay it's as different as night and day. Dirty, bug ridden very little hot water.

Stayed at the Red Coach 15 years ago and it was beautiful, Stayed there last weekend and it was the most disgusting hotel I had ever stayed in. Carpets were old and moldy in one corner. Coffee pot didn't work, The extra pillow on the shelf was covered in hair and dirty. Bathroom had mold all around the bathtub. In the heating vent beside the toilet there were broken pencils, candy wrappers, an inch of dirt and dust, and to my surprise a condom on top of it all. The tv had a continuos hum to it. The remote control had no back on it and the batteries kept falling out. We had called two days earlier to see if they had a hot tub,( I have a bad back and it helps) we were told yes we have one. When we went to enjoy the hot tub it was empty and out of order. The lady at the front desk said they had been waiting a week for parts. She couldn't explain why someone there said it was okay two days earlier. The pool water was clean but the surroundings and change room were dingy and dirty. Some light bulbs were burnt out in the changing room and my young son and daughter each cut their feet on something on the bottom of the pool. We went to talk to the manager and was told he was not on the property. I asked the front desk to call him and she said she was not allowed. I explained the situation to her and she moved us to a different room. Fridge didn't work, bathtub was moldy all around the edge. Bathtub mat in the tub was old, torn and literally stuck to the tub. Carpet was old and dirty. Broken light fixture hanging from the wall. Just a disgrace. We talked to a couple of other people and was told their experience was very similar. A maid told us that since the new owner had taken over a couple of years back that he just wants the money and doesn't care too much about the place. The food in the restaurant was good, found out that that part of the hotel is contracted out to someone else. That figures. If the Red Roach is the only place available in town, sleep in your car for your weeks vacation. It is cleaner and more healthier for you.

This place was built in the 60's or 70's and nothing has changed since. The carpets were so stained and filthy that we never took our shoes off, the bed spreads looked filthy and were instantly tossed on the floor so that nothing of mine touched them, the chair seats were filthy, the curtains, filthy, the bathroom, unbelievable, mold around the tub, an old mat that had stuck itself to the bathtub bottom and was starting to peal up again, the matress was ripped and their wasn't even a fitted sheet on it, just a flat sheet that didn' t quite fit.
All in all, quite possibly the worst and filthiest place I've ever stayed.

I have been to lot's of different hotels all over the world and this is by FAR the worst. i don't know where to start. Right from the receptionist (who was bad mannered and very unhelpful) to the room it's self (number 30) see photo's. The whole place should be knocked down and built up from the bottom. The only good thing was the restaurant (food and staff were great) which is not part of the hotel. If we had not been on business and it was late and being paid for then we would have gone else where. And there was no good complaining,I did not see the point after I asked about the wifi and got no help and the way I saw another customer was treated. If any one has seen faulty towers then that is a 5 star hotel compared to this place.

At first everything was grand. We were able to do early check in(12pm) but then the expierence became worse. The lady at the check in was not very courteous at all. Which was disapointing after driving for 4 hours. The room was clean but the curtains were drawn and it was very dark and humid (in the middle of may) The windows had black mold around the bottom and the wall below had water damage due to leaking. The view was nice but hard to enjoy as the windows had a cloudy film on them. The bathroom was still in the state of 70's with orange counters, retro tile and the fan was covered in cobwebs. We spent all day out of room and came back at 5:30 and slept until 7 then left again and was back at 9 only to get a call from the front desk saying we were to loud. Which was funny because we werent in our room and the people below us had complained. But there was a car parked out front of our hotel that had a dog barking for 3 hours straight in it. We were laying in bed talking only to recieve a phone call from one of the other guests saying that the noise the night before was horendous and if we made noise again he wasnt calling the front desk he was taking care of it himself. We werent here the night before. When it came to the pool area the hot tub jets didnt work. I dont know if it was from the pool or hot tub as I used both but I ended up getting a rash from the chemicals used. It did have lots of grassy areas for dogs to eliminate and exercise. The hotel was very dog friendly. The beds were also super comfortable but the hospitality SUCKED!! We have stayed in many hotels and have never once had a complaint about noise. The rooms also dont have hairdryers, irons/boards. The price was good but for 10$ more u could have the Ramada which is what we will be doing from now on.

Room Tip: Dont stay here!
