Nice atmosphere, very friendly waiter. I had the chicken. soulvaki. It was different then what I was used to - not too flavourful but was tender and the rice was good. My husband had the maple salmon. He said it was good but he preferred his salmon without the sweetness. We would give them another try next time we visit Amherst.

Thank Linda S

We stayed in Amherst on a night when the only dining option open was Duncan's Pub so we had no choice but to eat there. The decor is more lounge like than pub like. It was extremely busy, but we were immediately looked after. There were two waitstaff. The bartender was our waiter and did an extremely professional job of working two jobs at once. We found out later that the waitress was on her first shift, but that was in no way apparent. The food was a surprise, as we had expected pub food and it was far more attractively presented and prepared than that. The meal was excellent. My only suggestion would be to make a reservation due to its popularity.

Had dinner here 3 times. Had a chicken dish the 1st day and I thought they were a bit skimpy on the food. About a 4 ounce chicken a few potatoes and megger veggies. The other 2 times we ate here there was plenty of food on the plate. My wife said it was the chowder she has had.
The food is very good and tasty.

We had lunch at the pub. We were pleasantly surprised with the many choices on the menu. Not typically all fried food but a nice selection of salads, wraps, seafood, pasta, steak.........
We has a nice hot meal, our seafood was excellent.
A nice place to go for couples or families. The staff are super friendly and offer excellent service.
The owners are a nice friendly hardworking couple who strive to make their guests feel welcome.
We would definitely dine here there again.
