I know this sounds cliched, but honestly, even though the surroundings are basic, the food was hot and tasty and the steak cooked exactly as I liked. I recommended this to everyone for weeks.

This place is hit and miss all depends who is cooking. Averagge taveren food. Their big draw is the WINGS night on Wed and Thursday. Not the best again Hit and Miss. Beers are great though

If you want to sit around with drunk fools and eat bad food this is the place for you. The service is poor. The interior doesn't even resemble a pub. The parking is limitting and confusing. I am suprised more drunks don't stagger out of the pub and get run over by the near by train tracks. Avoid.

Elmtree-recommended by a local. Met the cook before we went in. Seafood chowder, loaded with clams and shrimp, huge bowl with a fresh baked roll, $6. Liver and onions served with 2 scoops of mashed and gravy, carrots, coleslaw and a roll, $7.49. Food was great. Special was a 3 piece chicken dinner for $7.29. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We went to thank the cook as we left and got hugs and well wishes for a safe and happy holiday. Will definitely return on our way back.
