We came during peak dining time (without a reservation) on a Friday night during high resort season (July); the owner said they were busy and we'd have to wait a few minutes, but all would be OK. He was right. The food was great and once we got started (after a few minutes as promised), the service prompt. The staff worked with our limited English and when things calmed down a bit, we had a nice chat with the owner (and a great desert). I had clams and pasta; my wife had Tuscan bread salad--both were great and the right portion size.
Several large groups were eating nearby and seemed to be having a good time as well.
