“Nothing special”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

Bromont is on an off-shoot of the Granby to Waterloo bike path - so a good location for lunch.
Able to sit at table on porch with bikes nearby though not convinced theft would be a major concern.
At 12:30 on a Sunday, however, only the breakfast menu - just the usual variety of crepes and omelets with different fillings etc.
Service slow but polite, decor worn and basic inside and out.
Food O.K. - but why add sliced fruit to a fresh dish if the fruit is dried out or going brown. Suspect the mis en place was performed several hours before. Pretty boring bite.
Walking round after looks like Sunday was brunch / breakfast most places.
But will try somewhere else next time.

“Good food....”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

The food was good, and very reasonable prices...but the service was oh-so-slow!! I don't know if they didn't have enough staff on...but we were there for well over 1 1/2 hrs on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. We had to wait a long time to give our order...then waited a very long time again for our food to arrive...if you're not in a hurry, and you want to people watch on the terrace, then this is the place to choose!

“Small breakfast place with limited options”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

This place is nicely situated on the old main street in Bromont - contrasts nicely against the gaudy development on the road to the ski hill. While the food is good (not great) there are many things making this less than stellar.

First, the menu. It suffers both from too much selection and not enough variety. For instance, does one really need 15 omelet options? Conversely, they have no other proteins on the menu (no ham, bacon, sausage etc).

Seating is too dense to be comfortable and service suffers because of it. The staff is friendly, but they seem to waste time maneuvering around patrons.

If you're in the area and the place looks quiet, may be worthwhile, but I wouldn't recommend it.
