This is truly a wonderful place for adults to get away and spend some time. Morning breakfast is included and not something you want to miss (Mmmmmm good). Traci Floer the owner is a terrific people person and a fantastic antiques collector, as anyone who visits will see. All the rooms are decorated in wonderful period pieces. I highly recommend this destination. Go and see, you won't be dissapointed.

Room Tip: Off season is quieter, all the rooms are good. All rooms are upstairs (this is a very old B&B...

WOW. we had such an amazing stay here this September. I travel quite a bit and don't get around to writing reviews 95% of the time, but I felt compelled to spread the word about this great place. I will be the first to admit that I tend to have very high expectations and standards, and the Cranberry Manor (and Tracy and Wayne) exceeded all. I can't cover all details here, but here are some highlights.

- amazing decor, historic rich mansion type feel.
- beds are great.
- food... incredible. make sure you try something different each day you're there! so much care to detail, fresh flowers garnishing fruit cups, etc. (and high quality ingredients, for example, thick cut pepper bacon instead of regular bacon, and eggs were always cooked perfect).
- Tracy and Wayne are very friendly, and also professional.
- this might sound like a silly comment, but there was always hot water in the morning, no problems with running out of hot water being that it's a house with many people showering, that was an added bonus!
- location was great too!

Room Tip: if you want to do your own lunches or suppers, the suite upstairs has a stove and fridge and kitchen...

It was our family's first experience with a B & B and we are so glad that it was at Cranberry Manor. The house was amazingly beautiful, the hosts were very kind, the food was lovely to look at but better to eat!

Room Tip: Plenty of family room on top floor. Very attractive home and yard.

Unfortunately we were only in town for one night but very happy to have made that one night at the Cranberry. A short 5min walk from town, even walked to the kokanee brewery to really take in the sights... No brewery tours that day! The only drawback was that we required the room with two beds, on the road side of the house, which would have been a tad noisey if we weren't up early to go skiing... and so was Tracey with our breakfast! (Sorry ;-), so if your plan is to sleep in then just grab one of the lovely rooms on the other side. Great antiques with a very romantic feel.

I felt inspired to write a review on this lovely place. When you feel taken care of in every way, it is easy to pass on a recommendation. Where to start? The owners, Tracy and Wayne, are the most welcoming of hosts. Tracy's smile and generosity helps you to immediately feel relaxed and ready to enjoy your time with them. Visually, the heritage home is a pleasure. Much care and time has gone into restoring the home and filling it with period decor and finishing. It is like stepping into that era but without the fussiness that usually comes with so many treasures in one spot. You feel welcome to enjoy it as a home for your time there.
The beds are fantastic and I slept well for the three nights. Obviously, Tracy and Wayne, have splurged in their choice of mattresses and this makes such a difference to your stay. The bed is beautiful to look at but also to get into and enjoy the luxurious sheets and comfort. Lastly, it wouldn't be a complete review without mentioning the breakfasts. Not only was the food delicious but each plate was decorated with fresh flowers and other little touches that showed the effort Tracy makes with all that she does to make a stay memorable. I was there for business but would return for the pleasure of staying at Cranberry Manor again.

The Cranberry Manor is a very nice place. Breakfast both days was awesome. The room was very comfortable. The decor isn't really what I would choose, but I knew that ahead of time, and it is really a very minor point. Perhaps the only drawback was that given the proximity of the house to the main road through town, there is a bit of noise from the street (if the window is left open), but not enough that it wasn't masked by the fan on the AC unit.

In June 2005, my husband and I were graciously welcomed at this lovely heritage bed and breakfast home in the small town of Creston, tucked away in the Kootenay Valley of British Columbia. The home had been amazingly refurbished in period style of the early 1920s. There were three large bedrooms, each uniquely decorated, a large sitting room with television, and a common bathroom on the second floor. There was also an attic bedroom. A large updated kitchen, and beautifully decorated living room and dining room were on the main floor. The breakfast choices included homestyle whole grain bread for toast, bacon, pancakes, eggs done a variety of ways, yogurt, and fresh fruit and juice served in stemmed glasses. The dining room table was even set with lit candles! Tracy our hostess was also very accommodating about our breakfast serving time which was great as we had plans for golf that morning. This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and we were so pleased with our stay. We highly recommend the Cranberry Manor at [-----------]
