The menu is limited and the cafe small so not suitable for large groups. The food is excellent both main courses and desert and is healthy freshly made. A good choice for a lunch for up to 4 people

Corrine makes the best soup. We eat regularily at this small cozy restaurant and never are disappointed. The sandwiches and desserts are extra special as well.

There are many ways to screw up Falafal- I have tasted most of them. The Retro Cafe did a fantastic job of the Falafal Pita. Soooo good, and don't forget to order a Crepe for dessert- my sister and I shared the homemade apricot jam Crepe *drool*.
We will be back!

This small roadside restaurant is easy to miss Just off the busy Northwest Blvd., Creston. The parking is a bit difficult into the restaurant but after that experience is well worth driving a little ways out of town to get to. The owners are a delightful French couple who offer a wonderful European flair to their simple establishment. The menu is usually simple with comfort foods. I have been at this restaurant serval times and still find their Donair second to none. However it would be wise to order whatever daily special they have as it is usually fantastic and fresh

My favourite restaurants have 'not the usual fare' menus, genuinely friendly staff, an atmosphere that says 'you are welcome' and the food stands out for presentation, deliciousness and healthy choices. That's Retro Cafe and more. Yes locals eat here because of Corinne and Jean Jacques and what they serve up on all levels. Originally from Marseilles France, they love what they do and their home-made food and hospitality can't be beat.
