“Very comfortable, great hospitality!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2012

I stayed here for 1 night as a stop-over when driving from St. John's to the west coast. The hospitality was fantastic, the room very comfortable (and warm, very important in the middle of February!) The breakfast was amazing (best breakfast I had my entire trip). I would definitely recommend the Hill Rd B&B to anyone staying in Grand-Falls-Windsor and would definitely stay here again!

I'm not a fan of Grand Falls-Windsor, but crashing at this B&B for a little R&R was just what I needed. The manor was exceptionally clean and quiet, the hosts were wonderfully nice, and the breakfast in the morning was DELICIOUS!

I stayed in the Spruce Room. One of the best sleeps I've had in ages.

We stayed at this b&b on very short notice and found it to be a great place to stay! There were a few other friendly guests but the exploits room was quiet, spotless and the bed was to die for. Great breakfast omelette and great hosts who educated us on the community and home.

We booked the Exploits Room which we were extremely happy with. The bedroom was huge and the bed looked to be bigger than a king size. There was also a private sun/reading room off the bedroom. The bathroom was large with two basins.

The hosts were very affable and helpful with places to see and restaurants to eat at.

The breakfast was excellent with homemade goodies. The dining room was beautiful.

The only negative would be that if you are a shower person in the morning you have to contend with the hand held shower in the the claw tub but this is well worth it to stay here.

Great place to stay. Absolutely beautiful heritage house with fine furnishings, beautiful linens, etc. Wonderful individually made omelets and fresh made muffins for breakfast. Will stay there again definitely!

We travelled across Newfoundland and stayed in several B&B's, inns and hotels along the way but this was probably the best one. The owners were very helpful with all aspects of our stay - they helped carry our very heavy suitcases up to the attic room, recommended local restaurants and walking trails and cooked up one of the best breakfasts we had. As a vegetarian, I have to admit Newfoundland was a struggle. Everything is deep fried and it is very difficult to find fresh fruits or vegetables on any menus. It was wonderful to arrive at breakfast to see a fresh fruit salad! This was followed by probably the best omelet I have ever had. The house is well maintained, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. It is located about 5 minutes off the Trans Canada Highway and a good half way point to stop if you are planning to drive from St John's to Gros Morne.
