“Glimpse at Muskoka Lakes of the past... well done”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

This is a neat spot to view how the ship building and saw mill industries informed the area around Gravenhurst. The museum is nicely done, and a great venue for the events that take place here, like the wine-tasting. It's most appealing, I think, to Canadians that have an interest in the history of the area or folks that have an interest in ships.
I would go back!

“interesting spot to visit”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

There is a lot of good historical facts, nicely presented in this place. It's worth a visit. But try to go during a promotion or Doors Open because at regular times it is overpriced.

“Excellent Museum”

Lots to see and do. Hands on stuff for the children. Some of the old boats were spectacular. Staff on hand to talk you through the displays.
