Owner description: We are the oldest continuing operating Drive In theatre in all of Canada having opened in 1952. We are unlike any other Drive In experience in the country. Nestled among many indigenous trees like pine and birch, we are unique in that we have a cement movie screen that as built on top of a giant rock that is located on the theatre property. But just not any rock, the screen was built upon Canadian Shield Granite Rock! We have a kid's playground with many of the original play equipment including a giant sand pit filled with toys. We still play cartoons to start the night, vintage intermission snack bar clips and do draws for prizes every night we are open. We are still the ultimate Drive In experience filled with fun, families and nostalgia!

We have visited the here for the past couple of summers. Great way to spend the night with the family. Kids play on the swing sets before dusk, popcorn and a few great movies. This place is great, not fancy but it was not fancy back in the day either. Never stuck in a line up trying to get in or out. Hope this place is here for years to come, great memories being made here for us.

Support your local drive-in and support Muskoka! Good old fashioned fun at a really affordable price. Not over priced like Galaxy cinemas. I hope this place stays open for a long long time!

What a riot! This old time drive-in brings back such great childhood memories, it's just a shame most cities no longer value them. Kids running around the playground pre-movie, some in pjs just like we did as kids. The folks who work there were great. They seemed like one big happy family. They have a raffle in between movies (not sure what the prizes were), and they even sell window screens to keep the bugs out. Concession full of typical snacks, reasonably priced. This was one of the highlights of our trip to this beautiful area. Go!

There's something about watching a movie at the drive in. If you've never tried it you must. I recommend the dusk till dawn features the muskoka drive in offers which has multipul movies for a very reasonable price. They also have per person or car load rates. Snacks are those of a theatre but not quite as expensive which is a bonus.
Great experience while your in cottage country.
