Description: We are an English tea shop situated on Muskoka Wharf with a wonderful view of Lake Muskoka - right by the famous Steamships. We offer a variety of lunches including quiches, beef stew in a Yorkshire pudding, chicken pot pie, ploughmans lunch with English cheeses and of course sandwiches. Our most popular being the grilled brie and cranberry. We also offer an Afternoon Tea served on a two plated tier or High Tea served on a 3 plated tier. Details of our full menu can be found on the website. We serve wine and beer in the restaurant but not on the patio.

“Return Visit-Disappointed”
Reviewed July 16, 2014

My Girlfriend and I made reservations on a Wednesday for a girls lunch out. The service was very slow. It took 20 minutes to get a glass of water. The room was so noisy that conversation was impossible. When the food finally came....is was a meager portion. I had the beef burrito special and it was the size of a spring roll. It also came with a cup of soup and half a cup of salad $13.95. My friend had soup, mixed salad (lettuce and carrots), tea biscuit $12.95...ouch. The table was so small I had to sit sideways to the table....There wasn't room for both of us! Won't hurry to return.

“A very nice setting”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

This is a return visit after 2years. The lunches are of moderate size; but really quite adequate for a modest appetite. The sandwiches, salads and pot pies are all of very high quality in both flavour and presentation. Lunch time from 12 to 1 is very busy, make a reservation or delay til after 1.

“Did not live up to the great reviews!”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

Visited from England and took my Grandparents for lunch having seen the great reviews online. The staff were very helpful in getting us a table without a reservation but the rest of the service was haphazard and we constantly had to ask for drinks etc. While the sandwiches looked good the Beef Stew tasted like it had been mass produced rather than made on site and was not worth the prices we paid. The ladies washroom was not working and when we told the staff they said it happened all the time and they manually needed to pull the chain to flush it! As there was only one washroom this didn't seem an ideal solution. All in all we were disappointed, especially as we had visited the wharf last year and had a much better meal elsewhere.

“Always Great!”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

We visited The Blue Willow again in March 2014 and had another wonderful meal. The quiche is absolutely amazing and the butter tarts and scones are among the best we've ever tasted! Don't miss it!
