Description: We are an English tea shop and Eating House situated on Muskoka Wharf with a wonderful view of Lake Muskoka - right by the famous Steamships. We offer a variety of lunches including quiches, beef stew in a Yorkshire pudding, chicken pot pie, ploughmans lunch with English cheeses and of course sandwiches. Our most popular being the grilled brie and cranberry. We also offer an Afternoon Tea served on a two plated tier or High Tea served on a 3 plated tier. Details of our full menu can be found on the website. We serve wine and beer in the restaurant but not on the patio.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Blue a Willow Tea a Shop. Had been here before and enjoyed a particular special they had. We called ahead and they prepared it specially for us. Service was fantastic. Our meal was very delicious. The service was very attentive and the owner took time to come out and speak with us. The restaurant was very comfortable with great ambience. Dinner for two with soup, main course, desert and wine for less than $100. Will come back again.

We often travel to Gravenhurst just to have lunch in this lovely restaurant. It has a great view of Lake Muskoka and both steamships, Seguin and Winnoah. The dining room has small tables all covered with table cloths and all dishes are the Blue Willow. Atmosphere here is quiet with subdued music playing in the background. Their food is always excellent and my personal favourite is the shrimp and scallop salad. An excellent selection of teas are available and of course the desserts are worth every calorie!

Very accommodating staff, excellent toasted sandwiches served with a generous salad with dressing on the side all packed in pretty little carrying case.

We stumbled on this tea shop accidentally looking for a warm drink and a quick lunch. We got so much more! The atmosphere when you walk in is very peaceful and very English - far removed from chain restaurants and their cookie-cutter decor. The blue willow china pattern is everywhere, giving the room wonderful pops of blue colour. Once seated, we saw that the dining room is framed by large windows overlooking the water and wharf. Lovely spot to relax and share nice conversations. We ordered salad, quiche, sandwiches and the soup of the day. The mushroom soup was delicious. The individual quiche had the most amazing flaky pastry and the fluffiest egg filling. The coffee was very good and the tropical green tea became our favourite. We bought some tea to enjoy at home. The service was quick, the servers very friendly and the tea room and washrooms were immaculate. We will definitely come back every time we are in Gravenhurst - maybe try their High Tea next time. Recommend highly!

The restaurant is run and owned by a British woman who adds a unique flare to the food.
They have tablecloths and blue and white china.
I would say this atmosphere is definitely more oriented to women than men.
A great place for British 4:00 tea
Have had a variety of dishes there all of which were tastefully prepared
The service has always been attentive and the prices seem reasonable.
They are located on the warf at Muskoka Bay so its a great place to stop if you are going on the steamships on Lake Muskoka
Check it out if you are in the area.
