I just got back from my second visit to this hotel. Each time I go I am so impressed with how well this hotel is run. The staff are very helpful and courteous. The rooms are spacious, and clean and quiet. We had a King size bed with a pull out sofa bed. There was a good sized balcony and a full kitchen (large fridge, microwave, dishwasher, 2 cooking elements) The room was so quiet I never heard a sound from any rooms next door even thought the hotel was full. There seem to be lots of staff as well. Each time I was in the pool, a staff member came in checking that there were plenty of clean towels. The included breakfast offers lots of delicious choices. The hotel is situated by the harbor and has some beautiful walking trails to a lookout beside it. There are plenty of good restaurants close by along the boardwalk. There is also a place to rent boats, Sea doos etc right in front of the hotel. If you are there in the summer there is an excellent market close by on Wednesday mornings. Don`t hesitate to stay here!

This hotel was one of the nicest that I have ever stayed in, not only for its set-up, decor and cleanliness, but for the service we received! We had a 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. It was clean, bright and everything we needed! The breakfast-which is complimentary, was amazing! Hot fresh, full breakfast...the do-it-yourself waffles were the highlight of the mornings! The manger was attentive and helpful during our stay! The only complaint I had was that we stayed on an extra night because it was so great, and they charged us a higher rate for the additional night....

The Residence Inn Muskoka Wharf is a lovely hotel with a very friendly staff. The rooms are new and large-- ours was a suite with a balcony overlooking the water and had all the amenities one would expect from a Residence Inn. The hotel is located walking distance to a few restaurants, shops and a spa. There is an indoor pool and small but efficient exercise room on site. Breakfast is included.

The title about says it all. I was in a one bedroom suite. The room was really clean, in great shape, had a fireplace, huge balcony, comfortable king size bed, decent enough bathroom. The kitchen was fine - no oven, but the hotel does have a barbecue for use by guests which is nice.

The amenities at the hotel are very good - nice pool, small but modern fitness room.

The service is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the same one (exactly) as at other Residence Inns - but it is good, so that is nice. Make your own waffles, bad eggs, sausages, toast, yoghurt and fruit, cereals, muesli, oatmeal... And there is free high speed internet to all the rooms.

The location, paradoxically, leaves a little something to be desired. The Wharf is supposed to be a bit f a destination, but it feels sort of out of the way. I really felt like I was in a tourist town off-season. If you need anything (even milk!) you need to drive for it.

If you are in the Gravenhurst area do yourself a favour and book this place! The only thing more impressive than the hotel is the staff who are top notch, professional and yet make you feel like you are a friend more than a guest.
I am not in this part of Ontario often, but I can assure you that if I can ever find an excuse to come back, I will.

We booked for the May long weekend. It was a full house, with lots of children and pets. Management warned guests that the breakfast buffet might be crowded for the late risers, and they did open up extra areas to accommodate the crowds. Noise levels were certainly reasonable - i.e. it was pretty quiet.

The facilities have that new look and polish. Staff was very good. Accommodations were generally excellent in terms of space and quality. The one problem we encountered related to the air conditioning fan, which was very noisey. A technician checked it out, but was not able to make adjustments to solve the problem, so we turned the fan off overnight.

This hotel was exactly as advertised. Clean. Courteous staff. Excellent variety of breakfast. The view from our lakeview room was amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything better. We will be re-booking for another long weekend for sure. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
