“A beautiful day in Muskoka”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2013

A trip on a beautiful steam ship is 2 hours very well spent . The best way to veiw lake Muskoka with a very well narrated tour. The scenery was stunningly beautiful as were the houses on the islands. Entry to the Muskoka Boat and Heritage Centre is included on the cruise ticket. We thoroughly recommend this trip.

I find some of the crew of the segwun not very friendly and not recommend when trying to give a hand and was looking to forward to go more paying rides but once is enough another words do it one time and that's enough

“A great way to explore Lake Muskoka”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

The town of Gravenhurst has two steamships that leave regularly from the wharf at Muskoka Bay
You can do lunch and dinner cruises daily. The Seguin and the Wenonah II are historic vessels from a bygone era. If you are looking ffor a relaxing way to spend a few hours looking at the expensive homes and boat houses on Lake Muskoka this is the attraction for you

“Lunch Cruise Aboard the Wenonah II”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2013

I have wanted to take a cruise on one of the two Muskokoa Steamship Line Boats for a very long time and I finally did it on the Wenonah II and plan on coming back again and cruise on the Segwun in the future. Thank goodness there is a group of people who believe in preserving the past and gives people the opportunity to do just that.

My adventure on the Wenonah II was a 2 hour lunch cruise that started from the docks in downtown Gravenhurst and included a delicious turkey dinner with all the timmings and dessert. Once you have finished lunch you are free to move about the boats upper decks and soak in the beautiful scenery of Muskoka lake. As you cruise the lake there is a on going commentary by a guide who regales you with information and stories about the boat and the scenery and the history of the Muskoka lakes area.

This is a must do activity for anyone who is interested in the past or finds themselves at home on the water or wishes they can be on the water more often. So all aboard for a special experience and the chance to step back into time.

We had a pleasant two hour trip around Muskoka lake on a real coal-fired steamship. The narrator provided detailed information on the history of the area
