Great food and service..... definitely recommend the Lobster Mac and Cheese, Lobster roll, the chowder and hummus. Everything is freshly made and unique.

Try it you'll definitely like it!

“Worth the Wait”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

We knew there would be a wait on a July evening in a small town, but the guy managing the wait list radiated confidence. He knew which tables were finishing up, took down names, and his estimate (about 20 minutes for 2; an hour for 7) was spot-on. Tables ARE very close together, so squeezing in if you've got a big bum will be tricky. But you can eavesdrop on everyone else's conversations, or enjoy a book. The noise level is energetic but not over the top. Tables on the patio are pleasant if it's warm out or you're wearing a sweater.

Dinner: VERY thin crust pizza (my own preference) is almost cracker like, with fresh toppings including a spicy house-made sausage. We ordered one (about $14) to split, mane had salads and dessert, but I could have eaten one on my own. They're called "personal" pizza so don't share if you're very hungry. Salads had fresh greens, The dark chocolate mousse came with almost as much whipped cream as mousse.

Returned for lunch (people waiting again, even @ 1:30). Lobster roll was sweet, mild, and fresh ($16), while the Italian meats were generously piled onto fresh ciabatta roll.

Good selection of drinks and beer, including a Propeller bitter.

“Bad Front desk, Friendly Service, Decent food”
Reviewed July 21, 2014

Waiting for a table is a horrible experience. The man who handles wait lists says its not an exact science. I think he hasn't got the science and his judgement of fairness seemed to depend on how large the parties were.

The food was decent, nothing you can't make at home. The best thing was the amazing freshness of the sea food, live every other small restaurant in Lunenburg.

“Great menu, a little pricy.”
Reviewed July 17, 2014

For a harbour front restaurant it's one of the top three for us, and prices are relatively reasonable. The same owner owns Fleur de Sel (higher end) and the Fish Shack (wonderful fish and chips).

“"You've got to eat here"”

When visiting Lunenburg, you must make this the place in which to eat at. The town is quaint and this restaurant even more quaint with a great menu and absolutely delicious.
