Had a lovely, relaxing dinner at Fleur de Sel. Started with smoked salmon, then lobster and halibut. Doughnut desert was well worth it. Everything perfect. Giddy, our server, was very professional.

My husband and I ate here on our first anniversary for a nice fancy dinner experience and we weren't let down. The staff is exceptional - friendly and professional, while the atmosphere is classy, rich and inviting. We ordered the oysters as an appetizer which were to die for. Three oysters (two of each) plucked from a different area of Nova Scotia, each one offering a different flavour and experience. Mains were the salt water/butter poached lobster and the lunenberg scallops which were incredible. No complaints about this place, would definitely go again! Only thing to keep in mind is that you pay for the whole experience. With a drink, appetizer and main you won't pay less than $100 for a meal for two.

Always a great meal, with service and setting to match. The lobster is hard to beat - but so are the scallops, oysters, duck etc - you get the picture.

Fleur de Sel was our favorite restaurant in Nova Scotia. The quality of the food was equal to fine dining establishments in any large city. I had halibut, which was delicious, and the size of the portion seemed quite reasonable to me, although I see several prior reviewers considered it small. My wife had a scallop dish which she pronounced delicious. Prices were not cheap, but they were reasonable for a restaurant of this quality and not much higher than we paid in other places that were nowhere near as good. The restaurant is fairly small, but the decor is nice. Our server was great, explaining the dishes as she presented them. We arrived without a reservation, and they were gracious about fitting us in. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant.

My husband and I enjoyed Fleur de Sel. The service was great and the food was of high quality, although some of the portions were quite small. There were not a lot of options for a gluten-free dessert either. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant.
