Stayed at Mariner King Inn for our anniversary - had a suite in the Cranberry annex. Perfectly appointed. Small sitting area with leather couch. Nice bedroom, comfy bed. Great shower.

Check-in was at 3pm, check-out at 11am. Superb service.

Breakfast was spectacular...Sunday morning featured mimosas and lobster eggs benedict. Hot and cold buffets as well. Great selection of fruit and cheese and meats and cold smoked salmon. Extraordinarily attentive server. Served in a lovely sunroom.

Recommended without a qualm. This B&B is fantastic!

This is a really well run Inn. Staff were very nice, breakfast was amazing. We stayed in the new Cranberry addition. Great bed and bedding, fabulous shower. Great decor that keeps an historic feel with all the newest amenities. Located in the cutest houses in the middle of town.

Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Gave us a tour of Inn upon our arrival and did some research online for us after we mentioned that we were looking for a surf shop. This Inn is very well maintained and the rooms are beautiful. Our bed was oh so comfortable and we hated to leave the next mornning. The bathroom in our room was small, but had all the wonderful amenities so we were fine with the size. Flat screen t.v. was a nice bonus as were the fresh flowers in the room.

The only downside is that our room was on the street side (which was same side as the breakfast sunroom) and we could easily hear every car as it passed by the hotel. However, the comfort of the bed seemed to balance out the noise.

The breakfast was an amazing spread of meats, cheeses, pastries, spreads, fruit, and more. Plus you were able to order from a menu for hot items. Waiter was very friendly and professional.

Lunenburg is a small, quaint town and easy to walk around from one end to the other. Waterfront is just a couple of easy blocks from this location.

We stayed at this inn while attending the folk harbour festival and ended up booking an extra night. The room, the breakfast, the location and security exceeded our expectations. We parked our car safely in the private yard on Friday morning and never moved it til time to depart on Monday morning. We walked everywhere, enjoying the most beautiful seaside town with great people, shops and restaurants. The music was a bonus to this great holiday. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed at the Mariner King for our first anniversary and it did not disappoint. We booked the candle light dinner package and thoroughly enjoyed our meals, especially the creme brulee, fantastic! We stayed in room 105, the attic suite which was a gorgeous room, we loved it. All of the staff, from reception, wait staff, and Chef Konrad made sure to make you feel welcome, genuine maritime hospitality at its finest. And the breakfast...wow! Where else to you get everything from cereal to pickled herring plus a hot meal option... exceptional! I would highly recommend the mariner king and look forward to staying there again.

My husband and I booked the Candlelight Dinner package and had exceptional accomodations, meals and service. We booked a King room in the main inn as we love the character of a historic home. The inn has all the modern ammenities you would expect in 4.5 star rating. Our package included sparkling wine in our room, amazing dinner at the onsite dining room with a glass of house wine and breakfast the following morning that was also amazing. We don't always appreciate what our own province has to offer so I wanted to spread the word about the Mariner King Inn.

we had originallly booked 2 candlelit dinner packages but unfortunately we arrived later than expected and were told we were too late to take up one of the packages. It was a bit disappointing especially as we then had to find somewhere to eat and discovered that the Trattatoria restaurant which we were given a voucher for was in fact still serving food.
This apart,we had room 105 which was lovely and the most comfy bed we,ve ever slept in,They had thought of everything and had a very well stocked mini bar.
The Inn is run by staff not the owners and we were charged for 2 packages even though we had only had one but we pointed this out and the difference was refunded quickly. All in all a very enjoyable stay and would use this inn again.
