We booked this hotel for one night through last minute.com and the £100 ($155) price stated it included breakfast. It was the last room available and as short notice we didn't expect the best but were surprised that the room had no view (unless you count the wall of the building next door). especially as it's known as the "Inn with a View". There was no parking and we used the public car park a few minutes away and paid the day rate fee. We were checked in and found that there was no breakfast included or even served in their restaurant but we were given a breakfast voucher for $3 for a restaurant about 5 minutes away and by the way when we got our breakfast after a 45 minute wait it was cold, not what we ordered and inedible. The room was itself was clean and the bed comfortable. The air conditioning unit worked well but was too noisy to have running at night and sleep. The bathroom door was hanging off its hinges too but reception although polite didn't seem interested in this. One night was enough.

We travelled here because my husband had to do some work at Highliner so myself and our 3 year son came along with him.
We loved this hotel we found it pretty quiet, beds were comfy, we had room 9 which overlooked the harbour which had stunning views.....the restaurant was delicious we had a fabulous meal there!
The town is very quaint and we loved it here we would move here if we could!!!

Can't wait to return, location exceptional, we had room 5, covered deck full view of harbour. The room was lovely, big and clean. Check-in was easy and staff was very pleasant. Had lunch on the deck, yummy lobster sandwich with the best fries I have had in years!

Acceptable, but nothing exceptional here. On a very hot day, we arrived to find that they had not bothered to cool our room in advance. The in-room cooler took hours to catch up to the heat.

Some rooms have a view of the harbor and they may be more pleasant. Ours did not (which was expected) and it seemed a bit claustrophobic. The room was clean, though not particularly attractive in design.

Our host was great. Very welcoming and helpful.

If, like us, you find many other accommodations already booked, you may find this acceptable. There was nothing really all that negative, just kind of disappointingly "average" all around.

Room Tip: It might be worth it to try a harbor view room.

Clean rooms, great staff and a great restaurant. For the price this is a great hotel. The place is made out of wood and is more than 100 years old people everything is going to be a little crooked and the doors are a little sticky. Some of the rooms don't have the greatest view but again for the price in Lunenburg you cannot beat this place. The restaurant is excellant also.
