This B&B is located within easy walking to downtown Lunenburg. Susan and Sebelle are gracious hosts who made excellent recommendations on restaurants. We especially enjoyed The Savvy Sailor for scallops that rivaled Digby scallops for sure. I wish I could go back and eat another meal there. Lunenburg is a treat and Susan and Sebelle will make your you enjoy your stay.

We stayed two nights at the Atlantic Sojourn, and we're so happy we did, both because we loved Lunenburg, and because we loved the B&B. Your hosts will be absolutely sure you are outfitted with all of the information you need to make your adventures in Lunenburg and surrounding area one of the highlights of your trip. They offer an exhaustive supply of information, and are also very eager to be engaged in conversation if you have any questions. The B&B is conveniently located an easy walk from the center of town and the museum. There are various places to sit and relax on the facilities, including a balcony and a little garden with a pond.
The room was gorgeous (we were in the Lupin room), spacious, with a comfortable bed. It's at the front of the house, so you do hear the traffic during the day on the main road. However, there is very little traffic late at night, so it does not disrupt sleep. The shower is small, which was adequate for us, but if you are larger in size/stature, you may not enjoy your bathing experience as much.
Breakfast is run on a tight ship. You sign up for a specific time that you want to eat, which wasn't really my favorite part of the stay. Being on vacation, I like to enjoy waking up when my body tells me so rather than signing up for a specific time to adhere to. It also kind of minimizes breakfast social time with other guests... which for some people may be a positive thing!
Finally, they offer Arbonne shower products for your use - lotions, shampoo and condition - which was much appreciated. After many nights on the road, it was a lovely treat to use high quality goods like these.

Room Tip: Lupin room is spacious with gorgeous comfy bed, but situated at the front of the house so you can he...

Spent only one night here and wished it could have been more. Our visit started off well when Sebelle and Susan graciously let us check in 4 hours early so we could get unloaded before the forecast rain arrived. Our room (Lady Slipper) was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is a bit small but perfectly adequate for us. The location of this grand house is just a little out of town, far enough to be away from the hubbub but close enough to be an easy walk to all the attractions of Lunenburg. Breakfast was just what we expected from all the reviews. Freshly prepared and delicious. A nice choice is offered, enough to suit all tastes. We would certainly come back again if we are ever in

We spent 2 lovely nights in Lunenburg and luckily at the Atlantic Sojourn. Beautiful , historic house but it is Susan and Sebelle whose care and enthusiasm make this B&B a wonderful stay. Their hospitality and attention to every detail made it a joy to come home after long hot days, touristing. Fabulous recommendations of places to see and eat...and the breakfasts were huge and enjoyable.

My husband and I just spent four wonderful nights at the Atlantic Sojourn. This was a return visit to this amazing B&B. Our hostesses were friendly, extremely helpful, and enthusiastic. We loved our chats. This is the best B&B we have been in. It is a beautiful home, spotless, comfortable with little extras like homemade chocolate chip cookies and a new balconey to sit on to enjoy those cookies and a cup of tea/coffee. The breakfasts were well presented and delicious. Couldn't ask for anything more. Looking forward to our next trip to Lunenburg and the Atlantic Sojourn.

I realize this review is kind of late, but wasn't sure how to enter my opinions, but now that I know what I'm doing?!!, here I go. My wife and I stayed here about six years ago when it was under different ownership, and while we had a nice stay then, this time our stay was FANTASTIC! Our hosts, we felt, truly went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They made suggestions for eating places, attractions to see, and even loaned us their personal atlas for a short trip we took. Their attention to detail for the guest's comfort was second to none (and we have stayed in many B&B s over the years. Can't wait to get back to Nova Scotia so we can stay here again!

Room Tip: Every room is exquisitely furnished and attention to detail is evident in each room and the downstai...
