“Make this your first stop in Lunenburg”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

This excellent small museum is a must see. Stop here first, and everything else you see in town takes on a much deeper meaning. Great tour guides.

“Knaut Rhuland House”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

This little museum is a must to learn about the first 100 years of the Town of Lunenburg. The young guides, all in period dress are excellent and very friendly. They seem to be able to answer any question at all. The museum is part of the Heritage Society and although there is no charge, a donation does not go amiss especially given the quality of this learning experience. With little ones there are plenty of costumes to put on and get the true feeling of what life for some might have been like in the late 1700's. Again if you are lucky you will see the spinners and weavers making cloth. Great experience. It is located right off King Street. Seek it out.

“Interesting house with eclectic displays”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

We enjoyed seeing the architecture of this 18th century house, but found the displays somewhat disjointed.

What an awesome house to see. Such history. Cost nothing only by donation. The tour guides are extremely knowledgable and really educational. Really enjoyed it
