Excellent morning coffee with tender, just baked blueberry maple-glazed biscuits, and refills for a buck of some truly tasty, rich coffee!

“What a shock!”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

This place has been my favourite for a long time and had been for so many good reasons - quality, freshness, consistency, friendly staff and warm decor, etc.. Recently, I have had a couple of not good experiences. I had a dust dry muffin in May, it was unbelievable, it was take out and so I did not return it. I just came from there today - Aug 15, and had take out of a rhubarb muffin and skim milk latte, which is the latte I always get. The muffin was like flavourless white cake with cinnamon on top, and one single piece of rhubarb in it. The latte was not skim milk, and it had half the espresso in it required and is normal for there. It was like light beige hot 2% milk and did not even have enough coffee in to to be able to smell like it. I sincerely hope this is not a sign of the times.

“Tasty!”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Nice sandwiches, cookies, muffins and bakery items with very good coffee makes this a nice place for a quick bite to eat. Closes fairly early but give it a try for lunch.

“Excellent place for a bit of relaxing”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

Stopped in this lovely place on a recommendation from a local shop up the street. We enjoyed some coffee and a local treat of oatcakes dipped in chocolate. Had a nice chat with the owner about the area and the tradition of oatcakes in the Scottish heritage. We loved the oatcakes since they weren't an overly sweet treat. Later on our trip we tried them at other locations and by far these were the tops. I will try making them! Great with coffee. Wish i had been more hungry to try other items on the menu. Sounds like it was all homemade with a bit of love.

“EXCELLENT SPOT!”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

This is a quaint little coffee shop on main St. in Lunenburg, it is tucked away, so you really have to look for it. The food is Excellent, the service is great, and while enjoying your coffee, you can sit and look out at the people passing by.
