I would highly recommend this pub. I have visited 8-10 times in the last year and without fail the food has been of very high quality. This Saturday I went to a ball in the garden - you wouldn't believe it was teh same place - a luxusrious marquee attached to the back of the Inn, superbly decorated and food to die for with 120 people all happy. The starter was salmon mousse and lobster, followed by aged angus beef wellington and loads of local veg. On a normal lunch visit I might have the goats cheese salad or the Prawn Curry (delicious). Then there's the family, I take them there for Sunday lunch, I love the fact that everyone can have Yorkshire Pudding no matter what they eat. In the summer the garden is a wonderful place to sit. You always find the staff there helpful and kind, I haven't ever felt rushed nor abandoned. Well worth a visit, great value for money too.
