Description: One of the most popular restaurants in Tremblant’s pedestrian village, Le Shack stands on the original site of the Chalet des Voyageurs, built by the legendary Joe Ryan in 1939 at the foot of the south side of Mont Tremblant. Philadelphia-born Joe Ryan was an eccentric millionaire and a visionary. With encouragement from his wife Mary and a parish priest, Father Deslauriers, Ryan founded the second ski resort in North America: Mont Tremblant Resort. During the 1940s and 50s, the Chalet des Voyageurs was the preferred meeting place of skiers, who’d congregate after a day on the slopes to swap stories with friends. With its warm and cozy atmosphere, Le Shack carries on this tradition of offering the best après-ski in Tremblant. The “Shack” – so named for the Quebec “sugar shack” in tribute to the longstanding tradition of shacks erected for the spring maple syrup season – recreates the spirit of good times with good friends. To honour Joe Ryan and perpetuate the tradition of the sugar shack, the folks at Resto-Bar Le Shack welcome you for your après-ski gatherings at the foot of Mont Tremblant.

Went to this bar/restaurant during our time in the Mont Tremblant area. We tried because the menu looked appealing but seriously, this place is not worth the good reviews it received.

the food was edible but not great. I had far better burgers for the fraction of the price. Our chips looked like the end of the pan chips, full of grease and cold.

Not easy place to find, a car park is pay and display (3 dollars per hour - 6am to 9pm).

Nothing more than a tourist trap... Stay away if you want proper food!!!

Having been up to the top of the hill, we needed nourishment, so Le Shack came into it's own. We felt that we couldn't come to this side of the Atlantic without having a burger, so we had one here. It was excellent, the service was very good, the beer was astounding! Another place to re-visit when we come back this way!

Lots of tv's to watch hockey and then the World Series. Reasonably priced food for Mont Tremblant Resort. Wait staff was very friendly, not the quickest but friendly. Food arrived very fast and was good. Would recommend the Brie Burger. Decent beer selection but strangely enough not local Quebec beers on tap. Will go back again when we go skiing this winter.

Maybe not the best of food but service and location is great. Lunch took us somewhat more time due to our distracted waitress but beer at 5 pm was great and our waiter was fun to have around. Everything came whit a big smile. I am sorry that I forgot his name but he was a pleasure to have around. Funny, bright, calm and in for a joke.
