Description: One of the most popular restaurants in Tremblant’s pedestrian village, Le Shack stands on the original site of the Chalet des Voyageurs, built by the legendary Joe Ryan in 1939 at the foot of the south side of Mont Tremblant. Philadelphia-born Joe Ryan was an eccentric millionaire and a visionary. With encouragement from his wife Mary and a parish priest, Father Deslauriers, Ryan founded the second ski resort in North America: Mont Tremblant Resort. During the 1940s and 50s, the Chalet des Voyageurs was the preferred meeting place of skiers, who’d congregate after a day on the slopes to swap stories with friends. With its warm and cozy atmosphere, Le Shack carries on this tradition of offering the best après-ski in Tremblant. The “Shack” – so named for the Quebec “sugar shack” in tribute to the longstanding tradition of shacks erected for the spring maple syrup season – recreates the spirit of good times with good friends. To honour Joe Ryan and perpetuate the tradition of the sugar shack, the folks at Resto-Bar Le Shack welcome you for your après-ski gatherings at the foot of Mont Tremblant.

Delicious smoked BBQ right next to the mountain. Very nice atmosphere and a staple for the resort town. My wife and I split the full rack of ribs and were very satisfied. Would go again if we travel to Canada again.

We ate at Le Shack for dinner recently while staying at the Mont Tremblant resort. It was a Saturday night at around 8 or 9pm. The server was sweet and prompt. The atmosphere was fun - a sports bar with lots of TVs. The food - pretty much yuck. We ordered burgers and fries. The came out in literally 5 minutes. Which makes me think they were precooked then microwaved to heat. The fries were also mushy and cold. We were all tired after a long day skiing and didn't complain. But $16 bucks for a microwaved burger was pretty disappointing. I wouldn't return.

Perfect location at the bottom of the hill. Lively ambiance for an excellent apres-ski that could lead to you don't know what. Nice and efficient staff with excellent service. Good finger food and good food.

Location is excellent right near the slopes. The service was ok. It seems quite lively at night but...
We had lunch there in between runs and it was horrible. Calamari was practically burnt. Hamburger was a per frozen dried out lump. Nachos had a pile of unmelted cheese on the top with no layering. Even if you expecting greasy pub food this was I inedible by any standard.
