“Great Lovers getaway for Valentine's Day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2012

My wife and I stayes here for several days around Valentine's 2012. We loved it! The location was perfect for people staying beyond just a weekend. Situated just outside the resort and near the old village I feel like we saw more than we would have if we stayed in a more expensive hotel in the resort. Plus the inn keeper had lots of tips on where to go. We had a spectacular view of Mt. Tremblant Resort also. The breakfasts were wonderful...never a repeat meal!

The only down side was we had the only room with a bathroom not inside the room, but just across the hall. This made it a little interesting getting ready some mornings with other guests around...but was not a problem during the week when we had the whole place to ourselves.

Overall very happy!

Le Refuge B & B was perfect for my recent stay. Robert has high standards of cleanliness and comfort and his breakfasts are freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Gorgeous views, surrounded by nature yet on a bus route, spacious rooms, everything one could need.
Robert was a considerate host and even arranged to print our boarding passes along with preparing an early breakfast on our departure day. Nothing was overlooked. You can't ask for greater hospitality.

Room Tip: Le Grande Chambre had everything including a kettle and supplies for making tea and coffee.

This bed and breakfast was amazing.. It was very clean, cozy and definately romantic. The room was adorable, bathroom indeed was luxurious, and bed very comfortable. Awesome shower in the deer room by the way! Just a 2 minute drive from the Mont Tremblant Resort ( which by the way costs over $65 for a 1/2 day lift ticket). The drive is so pleasant, trust me you wont mind. Parking is a little tight at this bed and breakfast in the winter but if youre a really good driver like my fiance you should have no problem :-) The inn keeper there was great as well. His breakfasts were amazing.. I mean eggs, bacon, sausages, crepes, beans, fruit, potatoes etc.. Everything you could ask for! He was very hospitable.. Anything you need, just ask. Great place, we would stay there again in a heart beat!

Le Refuge B&B was the perfect accomadation for my wife and I during our 3 night stay, February 2012. The host Robert was ever attentive and did not miss a detail while the layout of the chalet-type structure allowed for maximum privacy. Robert is extremely knowledgable about the area and very professional yet very friendly - a perfect balance. The breakfast is a stunning buffet masterpiece and we were served at the table one morning due to just the two of us ... outstanding! If you don't have a car, there is a bus route right at the base of the driveway. It's about a 5 minute drive to Mont Tremblant Resort. Flat screen and DVD in every room with free DVDs on site. Free internet. Very clean and quiet accomadation for one or two people.

Great B&B just outside of Pedestrian village. We did not have vehicle which was o problem at all, only a 20 min walk to base of mountain. Bus comes every 30 min, and there is a stop right outside if you don't want to walk or going skiing and have all your gear ($2.50 per each way). Great rooms with private baths. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again in a heart beat.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay between Christmas and the New Year. We had the Suite Tremblant and were very happy with our choice. Not only the room was cozy with an excellent view of the ski slopes, but the jacuzzi inside the room was perfect after a day of skiing. A word about the host, Robert. He is very friendly, a good cook and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you, Robert! We'll definitely visit you again.

We had a wonderful stay in Le Refuge and ended up staying several nights instead of two because the place was so nice. Robert, the host, couldn't have been more friendly and really went out of his way to provide us with recommendations, cook wonderful food and make us feel at home. The room was clean and cosy, and the use of a communal sitting area gave it a lovely chalet like feel. Free wifi and DVD library was appreciated too. The location is slightly off the beaten track, but there is a high quality restaurant opposite and the lake is less than a 5 minute walk down the hill. We wouldn't hesitate to come back if we had the opportunity.
