I stayed at the Auberge le Voyageur Bed & Breakfast with my nephew when when we were in transit between the New York Mets vs. Toronto Blue Jays exhibition games in Montreal and dogsledding at Expedition Wolf in Riviere-Rouge. Although the exterior looks a little dated, the interior is beautiful and cozy. The owners were very friendly and accommodating; we were told that breakfast would be from 8-10 the following morning, but when we explained that we had booked dogsledding which required another 30 minute drive, we were asked if 7:30 would be early enough to enable us to eat comfortably. The breakfast was delicious; we were offered an omelette dish, but we both chose the French toast with cream and bananas (mmmmmm...). The room (2 double beds) was great: perfect temperature for late March (with an in-room thermostat for fine tuning), comfortable mattresses, very soft sheets, and plenty of pillows. A quaint touch in the room is the stained glass window between the bedroom and the private bathroom. If I am ever up that way again, I will definitely stay again.

Came here in the summer time but it was pouring rain when we arrived in Mont-Tremblant but the place was so cozy! The owners were so friendly. The place was so clean. Wifi was great. Location was good. Loved that we could store our bikes in the shed with no problem. Breakfast was lovely. Had a great time here. Wish we stayed here longer!

We had great expectations, based on the many "excellent" reviews. What a disappointment. The host was a minimalist to the say the least, when it came to the kind of service one receives in a B&B. The room was clean but lacked some basic amenities which are considered standard in B&Bs and are annoying when they are missed. Dismal overall lighting in the room for packing etc. There just was not enough light in that one bulb. Each night table had a light which was not designed for reading, impossible actually. Only one waste paper basket in the bathroom, non in the room, annoying. Here comes the clincher. A nice envelope was left with a note from two ladies suggesting a tip would be appreciated. A tip for what. In four days the room was never made up. Only once was the waste basket emptied AND the room which was locked when we left each morning was left unlocked by the staff. My wife is a type 1 diabetic which is demanding when it comes to breakfast menus. She tried very hard to make them understand that there are foods that are NOT acceptable to a diabetic. We thought, and it felt like it from the response, that when Mary kept saying "no I can't eat that" that she was just a very fussy spoiled you know what. Well she is not. All in all it was the worst service in a B&B we have experienced anywhere.

Last minute decision and found this auberge.

Selling feature of this auberge: the amazing breakfast and the choices we got! We thought it would be just a standard breakfast but we got three choices of smoked salmon bagel, Quebec tortiere, and the brioche (cinnamon roll).

The room was standard,
with a small ensuite, shower stall only. We were a bit surprised to find that there was no shower soap or shower gel. Since this is our first time at an auberge, we didn't know if it's the standard or not.

For those who are sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs as sound travels quite a bit. You can hear people laughing in rooms clearly when you're in the hallways.

The hosts were great and accommodating. Overall, good experience.

My wife and I made the fortunate choice of this B & B for a first visit to Mont-Tremblant for skiing and snowshoeing. It is well located, a short drive to both the mountain for skiing and the outdoor center for snowshoeing. The interior is charming and spacious on the first floor with a great living room with fireplace and a spacious dining area for breakfast. Our room with bath was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The upstairs hall has interesting masks on the wall. Our hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They also sell discounted lift tickets. Parking is not a problem as they have a large parking lot. Wonderful restaurants are nearby such as on Rue de Saint-Jovite (i.e. C'est La Vie) or at the mountain village (i.e.Creperie Catherine). However, our breakfasts here were sensational! Eggs benedict, french toast and a breakfast crepe to mention a few. We've stayed at numerous B&B's over the years and this one is one of the best. Would we return here on another trip? You bet!

This B&B was a perfect resting place before hitting the slopes. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and altogether charming. The staff are very friendly and welcoming - it felt like home instantly!

Free parking and wifi, and a delicious breakfast as well. It was a great stay and we will be back!
