After passing by Mille Pates many times, we decided to give it a try for lunch. We had a cozy table under a large tree and umbrella. Paul, one of the owners, came out and introduced himself and explained the daily offering. We tried the antipasto for 2, best prosciutto I ever had. My wife had the 3 meat ravioli with tomatoe sauce, and I tried the rotini with singapore sausauge with tomatoe sauce and spinach leaves. Both were excellent, and we ate every little bit.

Thank you Paul for making us feel at home, and serving a delicious meal.

We'll be back one day for sure.

Rick and Judie.

Had dinner at Mille pates on Saturday night, July 27. Called in the afternoon to make a reservation - didn't know what it would be like on a summer saturday night. I left a message on the answering machine, hoping that someone would put my name down for the table at the desired time, or at least call back to say impossible. A while later, had a message on my phone that the reservation was made and a table was being held on the patio. Great!
Got there for the 8pm reservation, and table was indeed there. Caesar salad - yum. the honeydew cold soup - interesting and yum (but maybe could have had a bit of a kick to it to yummify it even more - is that real word?) the special pasta for the day with shrimp was delish, as was the pasta with local mushrooms etc. Didn't have any desert, but left fully satisfied (not stuffed). I typically try to stay away from pasta and italian when going out, but this was definitely "worthy". Service was good throughout. Thanks!

We are so glad we visited Mille Pates during our stay in Mont Tremblant, as it was one of the best meals we had and it wasn't overpriced like the rest of the city!
I had the chef's special made with chicken and hand-picked local mushrooms and was incredible. Subtle flavours, fresh textures and good sized portion (not huge, not tiny). My husband had a fresh tomato, spinach and soft cheese pasta that he loved also. We were pleased that it wasn't your typical pasta joint with creamy sauces with too much "stuff", all the dishes were simple and balanced. Tiramisu for dessert was lovely and the wine was reasonably priced! 1 appetizer, 2 mains, 1 dessert and 1 bottle of wine for $95 before tip. I wish there was a Mille Pates closer to home!

The Chef's pasta was the best pasta I've ever had for under $20. The Caesar salad was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

We went to Mille Plates (along with a number of other restaurants in St. Jovite) based on reviews from Trip Advisors. The place is quite casual as everyone has mentioned and there was one server for the entire place the evening we were there. We ordered an antipasto platter to share (it was totally loaded in olive oil but no other flavour) and 2 pasta specials. One was a shrimp pasta with a thai curry sauce. The pasta came with 5 mid-size shrimp and a very flavourless sauce. We would have expected more shrimp for the price of $17.95. We also ordered the osso bucco special (~$25). The osso bucco was okay and it came with pasta tossed in olive oil. As we had excellent meals at other restaurants in St. Jovite, we found this one to be very underwhelming and not much lower in cost to the other restaurants in the area. Service was slow and seemed to focus more on the regulars versus the tourist. When the server poured our wine, she continued to talk to look and talk to other regulars in the restaurant.
