We stayed at La Place St Bernard Deslauriers June 21- 25, 2013. The location was great. We were there as spectators for the Ironman 70.3. Check in was efficient and friendly. We were pleased with the layout of our room. We had the suite with a loft. Though the loft is quite open to the rest of the unit, the bedroom, though not large, did the trick. We had two full baths which was a nice feature, a full kitchen with basic utensils and a dining table and 6 chairs. Also had a nice little balcony overlooking the village. As others have said the furnishings are rather worn, but adequate. Our biggest problem was with the housekeeping service, practically non-existent. We got fresh towels each day except the last day (we were credited $5.00 for that) after we called to ask for them. Beds were not what I would call made the whole time we were there. For more than $1100.00 for four nights I did expect a better job from housekeeping.

Our room was in Le Johannsen, the room contained two queen beds, a cupboard with drawers, a built in cupboard and a fridge (that sounded as if it was going to take off), but no where to sit. It was very clean and the beds very comfortable. There was one dim table lamp and one dim floor lamp, so reading in the evening not so good. Reception for the accommodation was a walk around the corner, everyone in there was very friendly and helpful. The room was on the main street which was noisy during the night. We enjoyed our stay and would return perhaps to a different room.

We go to Tremblant often and always try out different places to stay. Place St Bernard was great. We rented the 1 bedroom +loft in the Deslaurier building and it was perfect for four of us. The staff was great and VERY accommodating and the location couldn't be beat. The only downfalls were: A-on our last night there the fire alarm went off multiple times between 10:00pm and 2:30am between 15 to 30 minutes each time. B- I got a very early am call from someone trying to interest me in a time share who was quite pushy and rude.

Room Tip: If you would like a balcony you should request beforehand.

We rented a 3 bedroom condo last weekend at Place Saint Bernard.

The location was amazing. Exactly where you want to be, right in the centre of Tremblant village and within walking distance from everything.

We were allowed to check in when we arrived at noon as the condo was ready, which was nice since check in time is only supposed to be 4pm.

We opened the door to a HUGE crack in the wall. It was literally the first thing you saw when you walked in. The condo is nice at first glance but we did notice it to be pretty worn out. It would seem that some very good times have been had in that place and it's sustained some damage (dents, dings and scratches on the walls, furniture etc..). It was very clean though, no issues with that.

We were six people and didn't find ourselves cramped. It was spacious and comfortable. The beds were great. We brought all of own food to have dinner in. The kitchen is fully stocked--sorta. They have plates and glasses, and very basic cookware but if you're planning a meal for six, pack your own cookware. Also there were no wine glasses and no opener. The dishwasher was 100 years old and very small.

We tried calling the reception twice and never got an answer. Just waited on hold approx 20 mins both times. They said that they were having problems with the phones...

All in all, I'd stay here again mainly for the location and the price. If It were say, a couples trip as opposed to a group, I'd opt for something a little nicer and fancier, probably the Westin next door.

Stayed at the Deslauriers for two nights over the May long weekend for a little over $100 per night.

I rented a double room (not a suite). The room had two comfortable double beds and was generally well appointed though perhaps somewhat dated. The bathroom was ok though it provided the only mirror in the whole room!

The room overlooked the main drag, and it tended to be noisy. I would have liked to sleep with the window open for fresh air but didn't because of the noise. Luckily the windows did drown out the noise once closed and locked.

You check in in another building - this was quick and painless. The "lobby" of the Deslauriers consists of a few chairs, a mirror and an elevator door. It is not the type of place you would really sit and lounge in. The location of the hotel itself is perfect being at the top of the pedestrian village, close to restaurants, shops, etc.

Parking was easy to find and there were plenty of spots.

Like I have said in previous posts, there are many sites to choose from at Tremblant and this one in my humble opinion is average at best. I don't think I would return to the Deslauriers.

Room Tip: I might suggest requesting a room/ suite that isn't overlooking the main pedestrian area because...

The room, reserved one week prior, was $145 (tax in, parking not included), offseason (mid-May). The parking garage is directly under the St-Bernard with easy elevator access. (Not sure why or what other people are lugging up mountains in other reviews...)
The room was small-ish but not crowded, two double beds, closet, large tv, bathroom, very clean and perfectly pleasant. It's a somewhat unusual but effective arrangement in that it is not one central building with a lobby under a large block building - it's rooms atop the retail pedestrian avenue, with the "lobby" in a side building. As you gaze from your window on the pedestrian traffic below, you feel a little like you are rooming in a friend's apartment in a curvy European town. The beds and bedding were very nice.
Note the main benefit of this property: 3-hours access per person to the Aqua Club (no pool otherwise) and open access to mini golf. Very good for families in off-season, pre-pool times. All Tremblant-hotels have access to the Gondola to the top of the mountain for lovely views and hikes.
