Excellent Service and superb location

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Apr 5, 2019
It is the second time we stay in that hotel. Second time was better than the first one. Service with a smile, fast and reliable. Love the Phone key feature. The hotel is conveniently located a few meters from the City Gondola that brings you to the base of the mountain. In addition, is also located close to a mini market and the Pedestrian village. The other plus is that after a long day of skiing you can literally ski all the way down to the hotel entrance. The hotel was clean, in good order and the services and amenities were readily available as they advertised. Nothing but a good experience. Good and convenient. Very practical! I'll be back!!

We stayed here during our skiing vacation (4 days). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean and well equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, dish detergent, paper towels, etc. We had a fireplace in our room but you had to buy logs at the front desk if you wanted to use it. The only drawback to this room was there was no in room safe, which is often standard in most hotels. We had a view of the side street and we could see skiers skiing near our room when finished for the day. We had no view of the slopes. This hotel is the the furthest from the base of the ski hill and next to holiday Inn. Breakfast in the mornings was busy on the weekends especially except from 7:30 and 8:00. Casey’s is just to the side of this hotel if you want your basic pub food. There is also 2 hot tubs outside that you have access to. We also received free passes to skating and sliding for staying at this hotel. Nice perk. All in all, we would definitely go back!

Let me start by saying you can’t go wrong coming to Tremblant. This is a fabulous place to ski or snowboard, whether you are a beginner or an expert.

This was our 2nd visit but our first time at the Residence Inn. Last year we stayed at the Homewood at the top of the village (at the bottom of the mountain) and it was very nice however we prefer the Residence Inn for several reasons. The location is the hotel is excellent. It’s very close to the tram which takes you to the top where you take the gondola to the mountain. You can ski/snowboard down to your room. It’s near most of the restaurants so when you are tired from your day you only walk a few steps for dinner. The staff is absolutely fabulous. Alex at the front desk is wonderful! When we checked in, our room was on the first floor within steps of the hot tubs. While most probably would have loved that, we weren’t going to use the hot tub and preferred a different location. He couldn’t remedy the situation due the lateness of the day but took care of us the next day with zero hassle. When we came back from the day’s activities our luggage was in our new room waiting for us. We also had great service from everyone we encountered from housekeeping to the breakfast staff. They make you feel like you are visiting friends! Speaking of breakfast, it was more the adequate- there is waffles, eggs, beans, bacon or sausage every day plus bagels, toast, pastries, muffins, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereals, hot cocoa, coffee/tea, and juices. Parking was easy in the garage at $14 CAD daily. We had a 1 bed suite w/2 doubles and a fireplace. The living room has a sofa bed, there’s a full kitchen, nice bathroom with plenty of counter space, tub/shower with great water pressure. Laundry is available for 2.50 a load on the 2nd floor. Ski storage is available in the garage. We stopped about 15 min outside the resort at the IGA for snacks, drinks, water, fireplace logs, etc., to avoid having to go to the supermarket in the village which sells at a premium. Alex advised us tubing was available over the weekend 15 minutes away off site and it was awesome! We absolutely loved our stay and booked to return again in December. Highly recommend the Residence Inn! Just book it. Merci beaucoup!

Nice accommodations for two couples in one room. Kitchen was handy for some meals and free breakfast was convenient every morning. It was great to be able to ski right to the front door of the hotel and soak in the hot tub every night. Location is right in the village but you do need to take the overhead cabrialet to get to the base with your equipment. True to a three star ranked hotel.

From the reception staff to the housekeepers everyone here actually treats you like you are paying 400 a night for the room. A refreshing change. Everything is very clean and new. The kitchenette in the room is well stocked and a family could actually use it to feed themselves. also a nice change. Hot tube were almost always full of people, so maybe they need a couple more in the courtyard. Very handy location and great to ski right up to the front door. The only small problem we experienced was that we left behind a few items, including a toiletry bag with prescriptions and glasses in it. I have filed a report with the front desk but not heard back from housekeeping. If I wasnt having this problem this would be a 5 star review .

This is our 5th visit to this hotel as a family for March Break. We were a group of three families. The hotel is well located, the rooms are great and the staff are all friendly and very helpful. A special thank you has to go to Jonathan and Dominique at the front desk as they have gone over and beyond to make our stay amazing and their attention to all three families has been fabulous. Thank you for another great trip!
