We stayed for 6 nights in Dec 06. We had originally planned to stay at Chateau Beauvallon but decided before we went that we would be better staying in the village, given that this was our first time skiing.
We had a 1 bedroom suite, which gave a kitchenette with microwave, electric cooker, dishwasher, toaster and fridge together with all the cooking utensils we needed. We actually stopped on the way into Tremblant at a supermarket for supplies (there are 2 next to each other on the 117 north from Montreal - Provigo and IGA) which worked out really well. The suite also had an open fire (supplied with a fire log on the first night FOC, then $4.00 + tax per log. We thought that we should get a log supplied each night of the stay, since if the room was let to different people on different nights then one would be supplied to each new guest, so why not supply one each night regardless of whether occupants of room are new or not??) The room was cleaned each day including them running the dishwasher which was totally unexpected.
The living area and bedroom were a good size, as was the en-suite bathroom. Our suite was on the right of the hotel, overlooking the pool area (which being December was closed of course!). This was a very quiet room; we had heard that staying over the other side of the hotel, by Casey’s bar/restaurant could have been a bit noisier; I think this would be true as you can hear some noise from other rooms although not so as to disturb you.
There was a TV both in the living area and the bedroom, although there seemed to be more channels available on the bedroom TV, which seemed a little odd. The pay movies were a reasonable cost at $9.
All in all we found the room to be very clean and comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I arranged flowers and a cake for my wife’s birthday and they delivered them to the room just as arranged.
We had read that the breakfast could be a little disappointing, and that it could be difficult to get a seat. For us personally, the choices of juices, cereals, toast, muffins, waffles, hot sausages and scrambled eggs etc was excellent, but it could be an issue if a full cooked breakfast is your thing. We never had the slightest problem finding seating, although we were there very early in the season and the hotel was not full.
We had a 12 hour power cut the night we arrived, but this was no fault of the hotel and since it was resolved overnight there was not massive disruption. The staff coped well and handed out light sticks if needed, there was emergency lighting in the corridors and lobby area where they brought out fruit, hot drinks were available.
The location for us was excellent, lots of restaurants to choose from in the village, and Casey’s in the hotel itself was excellent, Tuesday night is all you can eat Fajita night for $18. Location for skiing was great too, a couple of minutes down to the rental shop, then onto the cabriolet which took us over the hotel to the foot of the mountain and the flying mile and gondola.
The hotel had tea and coffee available in the lobby all day which was a nice touch, they also have snacks in the breakfast room from 4pm-5pm Mon-Thursday, during our stay this was cheese and biscuits twice and nachos with dips another day.
We found the whole stay to be excellent, and would thoroughly recommend the hotel and resort.

My husband & I just returned from staying there for 3 days. The rates are really cheap there right now so we got a suite for $140.00 a night. It was overlooking the pedestrian village and the suite was spacious and clean. We brought our own firewood since someone from this site said the logs were $7.00 each-Thank You!
Also, with the parking, I highly recommend not bringing a large van/SUV / truck because it is very tight and you would have a hard time parking it.
Breakfast was great and everything was replaced right away, it was great making your own Belgian waffles! Lots of stuff to choose from from, much better than any place that had a free breakfast for you.
Some people have complained about the noise level from Casey's, which was right below us. We didn't see this as a problem, but for those who are light sleepers, ask for a room away from the bar.
My only complaint was that there is no indoor pool, for a facility that charges a lot in peak seasons, I would want an indoor pool there. By the way, the Aqua Club next door is okay, very expensive, and really, is for families with young kids. If you want to go as a couple for quiet and relaxation you won't get it there.
Overall, the resort is great and the staff was always very polite and cheerful. We would love to come here again.

We stayed at the Marriott for 5 nights and had a great holiday. The Marriott includes a fabulous breakfast. There is storage, parking, anything you need. The staff were great. We believe the new manager has improved on what was already a great value for a really nice place to stay. We will definitely return to the Marriott.

Splendid scenery, nice room, not so crowded. Expensive drinks, byob. The Mariott stood behind their policy of "if you find the room for less we'll beat the price" . Great little fireplace. Too cool for the pool. Only complaint no indoor pool.

I booked the Marriott for my family of five after considering the Hilton and similar multi-bedroom hotels for our three night stay in early March. I was happy with the Marriott and the Two Bedroom (more like a one bedroom plus a large loft) Unit that we selected. The room had the Two Sleeping areas(Queen in the bedroom, Two Doubles and a sofa bed in the loft), kitchen, living room (with another sofa bed) with real fireplace, small balcony, two bathrooms. Cleaning was provided everyday. Rooms were nice, location was super, and the skiing fabulous.

During our stay, we purchased a Two Day pass for the Aqua Club (One adult three kids was $70CAN for the two day pass) which was immediately adjacent to the Marriott and the kids had a ball. They loved the Tarzan Rope which allowed them to swing out to the middle of the pool and then splash down.

Most restaurants were very kid-friendly, and the skiing was terrific (although Saturday was very crowded). The Village had an appearance out of a story book, and all workers were extremely friendly.

We did a one hour horse drawn sleigh ride one night which was very cute, but got extremely cold after about forty minutes.

PROS of MARRIOTT:
The location was in the absolute center of the village. This means it was slightly below the base of the mountain, but there was a small beginner trail that continues past the mountain base to allow for ski-in, ski-out. In the morning, you ski down the beginner trail to the bottom of the village and you can take an open-air Cabriolet (a small Gondala) up to the mountain base. Some might prefer the mountain base location where the Hilton and many restaurants are located but we thought being in the center of the village was at least equal if not better.

As mentioned previously, the room was a nice size.

Complimentary Breakfast buffet was not goumet but a wonderful and economical way of starting the day.

The Marriott provided us with Ski-Locks for our stay free of charge which allowed us to lock up our skis in their storage racks located in the parking garage, and also the storage racks at the mountain base for leisurely lunches.

CONS:
The Marriott provides the first fire log of your stay for free and charges $7 per log after that. I argued that shouldn't it be "the first one free each day, since I paid for three nights, I should get three free, not one," but they didn't agree with me. I also presumed it would be a gas fireplace, and was surprised to see it was a real fireplace.

Disappointed with No pool at a resort that charges nearly $400 per night.

Extremely disappointed that there was no business center. Although they provide free high-speed internet, most hotels charging $400 per night have a business center, where one can log on to check emails without the need of bringing their computer.

Requested early check-in, arrived at 11AM, and was told my room was not ready and to come back in an hour. When I returned around 1PM after having lunch, was told that my room still wasn't ready, and they don't guarantee room availability until 4PM. They were correct, and not a big deal, but I believe a little more attention to detail would have enabled them to have a room ready for either my arrival at 11AM, or at least Noon when they asked me to come back. We eventually got in our room around 2:30, but I was a little aggravated for a while.

OVERALL, this was a very nice ski get-a-way for a long weekend. The Marriott was nice, not sensational, but nice, and Mont Tremblant was beautiful, (but cold).

We stayed here 10th thru 17th February as a family of four in a two bedroom suite. The rooms were well laid out and clean but did have a slightly tired appearance. The two bed suites are on the 3rd floor and ours faced on to the main street. Some evenings the music in adjacent bars could still be heard at 1AM which was a little annoying but not so bad that I would ask to move rooms.

Breakfast was a huge disappointment, at the weekend thee were no tables at which to sit until we waited for people to leave, hot food ran out regularly and was replaced slowly and there was no variety day to day. This is not a "free" breakfast but included and possibly the worst aspect of staying here.

Housekeping was good, a problem with the hairdrier was resolved within 5 minutes and the staff were polite and efficient whenever we needed to deal with them.

The only poor service we experienced throughout the stay was in Caseys, the restaurant adjoining this hotel. The food was OK on the first night we ate there but on the second the staff were clearly too busy to deal with additional diners and appeared sarcastic and rude.

Last year we stayed at "Club Tremblant" but wanted to stay in the resort this year. In hindsight we wish we had returned to Club Tremblant. The rooms were bigger, the food excellent and the 5 minute bus trip every morning a small price to pay for an overall better experience.
