Stayed 3 nights on a skiing trip, great location in the middle of the village but can ski back to the hotel.
Large comfortable room, although the heating packed up one morning we notified the reception on our way out and it was fixed by our return.
The breakfsat was better than expected with plenty of choice of hot and cold items and we never had a problem getting seated.
The complimentary snack at 4.00pm was a nice and unexpected surprise to us.
Our room was over Caseys bar and restaurant but we didn't have any problems with noise from here. It was quite noisy early evening from kids running around the corridors and in the room above but was never noisy at night when we were ready to sleep.
We would stay here again.

My husband and I along with our two adult children stayed at this Marriott property during February 19-24, 2012 for a week of skiing. The room was adequate for our needs and did contain a small kitchen. We really did not use the kitchen because of the wonderful buffet breakfast served every morning with the pretty view of the courtyard. I was very impressed with the variety and quality of hot and cold items that were offered. We always got to breakfast early so we never had a problem finding a seat. Our room was on the village side and I must admit, unless you had the heater/fan running, the noise from the street did wake us up. The front desk was always very pleasant and helpful. My daughter had to work one day and needed access to a computer/printer. Kevin Lapointe went above and beyond to accommodate her with what she needed in order to work while on vacation. The in-room high speed internet access worked great and was appreciated. We were pleased with the location of the hotel because we walked down to ride the lift to the main gondola and went outside to the village and restaurants. I would definitely stay at the Residence Inn again!

1st visit to skiing resort hotel in Canada. We cant praise it enough .,... they have thought of everything a family does need .We stayed ina suite.Spacious, clean and had a gas fire and balcony ...Staff - knowldgeable , polite -Domnique, kevin and the darker skiinned hispanic looking french speaking lady witha red hair band in the break fast room who works tiredlessly to please to the needs of the guests and their families in the morning..

Good points- excellent rooms , excellent sized hearty american sized and variety breakfast in a family friendly informal breakfast room..open gas fire in courtyard and a double giant Hot Tubs .. that is child friendly!

Ski Lockers locks provided , ample car park below at $10 a day...evening snack (reasonable ) in the e vening - weekdays ..

Also a stay here provides free passes to ice skating evening close by and also the tubing evening -was exciting - adults and kids !Can ski down to the hotel - what a boon!!

Cant really state what can be imporoved as all seems to be in shape.. however provision of snacks in the evening on Friday /Sat/Sunday may help ..

We will stay here again if we visit this resort ...

Thanks for providing us a good time

We stayed at the Residence Inn Mont Tremblant between 8th to 18th February 2012. Our party consisted of two adults and two children aged 8 and 10. Overall, we had a fabulous time, despite a 'fight' between our youngest and a chair lift on day 1 (and subsequent visit to the medical centre... he soon recovered by the way!)

The plus sides of the hotel were:

* The hotel reception staff were marvellous; incredibly helpful and always very friendly!

* The hotel room was a perfectly reasonable size, with a compact but fully equipped kitchen, table & chairs and decent size sofa.

* The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we all slept very well after a day on the slopes!

* The breakfast was always good, with plenty of variety both hot and cold.

* Fantastic location, close to the gondola, slopes, restaurants, activities and with a run which allows you to ski back to the hotel door (pretty much).

* Room was always cleaned to a good standard.

* We travelled from the UK with Inghams. Claire the Inghams rep was very helpful, friendly and available when needed.

* Shower had decent water pressure and the hairdryer was good!

The down sides of the hotel were:

* Breakfast room was busy at weekends - so get there early!

* Changing facilities by the hot tubs was the furthest point from the hotel, past the swimming pool. Potentially not a problem, however most users seemed to be walking through the hotel reception with their towels wrapped around them.

* Noise at night over the weekend. Our room was over Casey's bar, and during the weekends of our stay it was quite noisy at night. The children still slept and it didn't disturb us too much, so this is something merely to be aware of.

* The trip that we wanted to do with Inghams was unavailable as their provider had not responded to requests or had not turned up to collect those that had previously booked on. We ended up booking the excursion through the activity centre in resort at a higher cost due to be time limited and wanting to undertake the activity before going home. Again, not a huge problem - just make sure you book any trips early to give you plenty of time to get a contingency in place 'just in case...'.

Overall we liked the resort and would certainly consider visiting again. If we did, we would certainly stay at Residence Inn.

There were plenty if activities for the family, including tubing, ice skating, mini skidoo's - all which the children loved.

The resort was very relaxed mid week, but became a much busier place over the weekend with plenty of apres activity going on. We found during these times that it was often easier to eat earlier. We never had an issue with taking children into any of the restaurants, and there was always plenty of options available for them.

We would recommend Yaooo pizza - great staff, relaxed atmosphere and the most amazing pizzas. You must try!

We were disappointed with Puesta del Sol Cantina. After the meal the waiter raced after us, out of the restaurant, stating that he had not been tipped. He had been tipped (15%) and had miscounted the money. He gave no apology and it left a bit of an after-taste - we didn't return for the rest of the holiday...

We departed as Washington week commenced. For UK families who are looking for somewhere quiet outside our school holidays, check the dates before you book as the resort is only small and it was very busy as we left with lots families coming in for the break.

Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, and resort, to our family and friends. If you go, enjoy!

Spent 3 nights in suite 202A at the Residence Inn and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was.We had a great view over the village and towards the lake with the cool pedestrian gondola going right over our room, carrying passengers from the foot of the hill to the top of the shooping concourse.Nicely furnished 1 bedroom suite with fully stocked kitchen with good appliances. The complimentry buffett breakfast was reasonable and a different hot entree offered each day.Good staff and well run despite the hotel being 100 % full due to a long weekend.

Room Tip: face the lake or the side away from the pedestrian mall

First of all, I have to say that our hotel had EXCELLENT customer service and the kitchenettes were great quality. Sadly, we had to use the kitchenettes because most of the food en Mt. Tremblant was TERRIBLE -including, sadly again - the PLASTIC breakfast buffet of chemical waffles and powdered scrambled eggs. However, the worst let down was the promise that there would be a light tea every day between 4-6. This actually turned out to occasionally end at 5 and none of the 'tea time sweets' were sub-paar (honestly, I didn't know Duncan Hines made a cheaper corporate mix). One day we came in and they were actually serving cold macaroni/mayonaise salad and cole slaw --for tea??? That's just what I want, when coming off the bone-chilling slopes at about 4 in the afternoon. Cold 50s style macaroni salad and cole slaw/?!! I wouldn't be surprised if they served red jello with little bits of canned fruit and mayo the day we left, everyday the 'tea' would provide newer dissapointments. That said, if you are just get over it and drive down to the town of Tremblant, you will find some of the best food in North America!!

Also, the Marriott is too cheap to give free tickets away to long-stay guests for even the indoor pool/spa next door or any of the other cool things offered by the mountain. The last 'insult to injury' was that we had (like every other parent on ski holiday) booked a king room w/a pull-out sofa in the living room. Only to be given two doubles w/pull out in living room. When I requested our original order, I was notified that this was the best they had - the only other option is two queens in a large suite- so if you think you might finally get a relaxing big bedroom w/kids next door on vacation...time to think again...

Room Tip: call ahead of time.

We stayed over the long weekend and the hotel and Tremblant itself were very busy, I'd guess most places were at capacity. It was our first time at the Residence Inn and I have to say, it was nice to be able to step outside the front door right into the main street but that comes with a price which next time, we won't be paying! The hotel was very noisy. The walls are thin. A lot of the rooms are suites so large numbers of people seem to stay in them and they like to party all night, as do the people frequenting the bars below us until the early hours. Then, when the bars close, they continue to stand around outside and scream and screech for another hour or so, I guess until the cold air finally gets to them or they collapse, who knows. I'm aware I may sound old and boring...I'm not...I just like my hotel room to be a refuge...a quiet place where I can go to sleep and/or have some privacy without having to listen to the neighbour's conversation until 3am. I wasn't very impressed with the bed quality either but that pales into insignificance in comparison to the noise issue. We didn't sample the hotel food so cannot comment on that and the service was fine. We appreciated the underground parking making unloading easier although the elevators are small and rather slow so there did seem to be a lot of waiting for elevators and then having to wait for the next one because it was full. Perhaps just because it was a very busy weekend in Tremblant. Oh and our room was tiny given it had 2 double beds in it and the bathroom the smallest I think I've ever seen!
