For our last night on vacation we wanted to find a new and special place.... Little did we know when we pulled up to "the last restaurant in town"..... where no one else had yet arrived.... that this was going to be the great dining experience we did enjoy!!

The lady who runs the place couldn't have been more accommodating. We ordered Chicken on Lava Stones! Never had that before... they bring out 700 degree stones set in board on which you cook your own food! With excellent vegetables.... it was so fun and so delicious.

The water had a great smile - and the owner took really great care of us.

It wasn't until I went inside to pay (we had eaten on the deck) that I realized the place was packed.

Obviously - we were not the only ones who knew that this was an A+ restaurant!!

Again this year we returned to C'est la vie (Twice in 2 weeks) and again we were charmed by the reception and service from the owners.
We had the oinon soup and pierrade (and experience that everyone should try) in one instance and the escargot (with an amazing amount of cheese on top !!!) and fish.
As usual the food is excellent and the service is cozy and very personal.
I highly recommend this restaurant. A 3 course meal for 2 with wine will cost you less than $100 taxes in (tip not included) which is very resoneable for the high quality of the food and service received.

We will be back again next year.

An interesting concept: pierade (you cook your own meal on the hot rock). Very good quality of food, service and nice atmosphere.

Great service, low-key, intimate atmosphere. We found everything to be great, from the rudabega/carrot soup to the hot lava stone dinner (we enjoyed the bison and tuna steaks). The dessert, a yogurt mousse and cherry compote parfait was light and extremely good. Would highly recommend this place.
